little castle

we (me & hafdzuan) bought our first-together-property in Sep 07, right after we engaged.
sebabnya, i tak nak duduk rumah sewa lama-lama lepas kawen. so lets get ourselves a home, bayar mahal-mahal tiap-tiap bulan pon untuk rumah sendiri, bukan rumah sewa. puas hati :)

we got married in July 08, menyewa sampai Feb 09 before we moved to our own home on Mar 09.

so here is our little castle, where we spent our quality time together & raised up our kid & future kidssss (peh x agak-agak "s").

our little castle. this is the first day we move in, 15/3/09. hari tulah pindah, hari tu jugaklah pasang gril, pasang lampu, pasang kipas mak nenek semua.

by the way, the first furniture we bought right after we get married was a king size bed. baru kawen mestilah beli katil dulu, penting tu ;P.

kenapa pilih king size? because our master bed room is quite big & i think king size bed will occupied the empty space in the room. kalau beli queen size nampak banyak empty spaces plak, maklumlah belum buat segala cabinet almari.

reason lg 1 - sbb budak kecik ni pon tumpang tido sekali. so its wide enough to fit in 3 people on the bed :)

actually, hafdzuan & i was quite lucky because we dont have to spend a lot to buy home furnitures after getting married. reason - my brother & his family were leaving for Hong Kong to further his study & telah memberi ijin pada i untuk guna barang-barang dia. mostly barang-barang dalam rumah i dia yg punye :) (selamat poket gue).

i thanked them a lot for lending me their things termasuklah home-theater set yang telah dirembat masa kes pecah rumah i on May 09. nanti i ganti ok :) ngeeeeeeee.

ini adalah antara barang-barang abang & SIL yang telah banyak berjasa pada i & hafdzuan for almost 2 years:

sofa, tv cabinet & tv (located at our 2nd living room). a 1 door fridge & dining table. tq bro:)

just imagine, kalau tak de belas ihsan abg i & kakak ipar i ni, memang umah i dah sama level dengan gua dah. boleh jadik tempat menternak kelawar dah.

tapi ......... kontrak menggunakan perabot-perabot abang & kakak ipar i ni sudah ditamatkan awal bulan 5 haritu. diorang dah beli rumah, dah siap renovate & akan pindah ke sana. so sedar-sedarlah sikit kan, pulang balik semula barang diorang & i pon start laa mengalami bencana poket jahanam dengan membeli & membelah perabot rumah baru.

anyway, masa sibuk-sibuk nak pindah rumah last year tu i was 6 months pregnant. masa tu tak tahulah kenape asyik berkenan kaler silver. jadiknye, gril pon kaler silver & white, tempah langsir pon kaler silver. kahkahkah.

langsir silver. haha.

then we bought this sofa a week before puasa (on last year), tu pon lepas mama bising-bising - segan raya kang orang datang rumah duduk atas lantai jek ;P.

sofa pon kaler grey kahkahkah.

dan meja ini baru a week sampai:

a blue glass coffee table. carpet adalah carpet lama, untuk kenakan konsep blue / silver rumah. (kalau kawan-kawan lama nampak ni mesti cakap tak habis-habis kaler biru dari dulu :P)

a new tv cabinet. a simple one. purposely beli yang takde laci / pintu biar hadzim tak main bukak tutup laci / pintu. tapi lepas 2 minit tv cabinet ni sampai dia dah cabut kad astro. huh!!

and this is the latest one that we had. a dining table with 8 seating.

kenapa beli 8 seating? sebab hafdzuan berangan nak anak 5 orang, so cukup kerusi untuk duduk makan anak beranak. ngeeeeeeee.

fridge tak berapa nak baru (bought last year) & meja makan baru. i love 8 seaters. berbaloi-baloi :)

ok, this is all i have for now.
buying home furniture will never get ends.
im just happy for what i have now, but still, continous improvement is always needed.
