disebabkan i dah ada sepasang anak (cewahhh), maka i dah boleh nampak sedikit sebanyak perbezaan antara mereka. raising both of them makes me can compare on their behavior during baby's stage :)
(this is just a note to myself so that the memory will remains).

my boy, Hadzim Faeiq was born on 30/6/2009, at 40w10d, weighing 3.04kg, length 53cm, emergency c-sect delivery.

my girl, Hadfina Farwizah was born on 26/11/11, at 39w2d, weighing 2.84kg, length 50cm, vaginal delivery.

both of them had their first breastfeeding on their very first day.
hadzim lewat sikit, was fed 6 hours after the operation.
while fina was fed 1 hour right after she delivered. tapi lepas bf, fina ditahan pula di NICU selama 4 hari maka she was fed using tube / bottle while she was there.
between both of them, hadzim was very good in sucking, tapi fina selalu jek terlepas masa awal-awal tu. lama juga laa nak adapt. maybe because she had been using bottle on her first 4 days.

hadzim tanggal pusat pada hari ke-4. fina pula pada hari ke-7.

hadzim adalah baby yang sangat baik (semasa baby laaa .. sekarang ..? hahahha!!!). tak suka tahan mata kalau mengantuk. tido manjang. sekali tido memang 2-3 jam. unlike fina, suka tahan mata. tido kejap-kejap saja. kecuali kalau dah mengantuk sangat barulah dia tido panjang, tapi sebelum tu dia akan mengamuk dulu barulah tido.

hadzim has very beautiful skin, tak pernah ada rashes, not even once. and i don't give a damn on rashes cream at all masa tu sebab tak pernah beli. unlike fina, kena rashes kat muka, leher, buntut, kepala (sebab cukur rambut awal sangat). maka haruslah barang mekap fina ni adalah banyak - rashes cream, nappy cream, mandi pon pakai sebamed (sebelum ni i tak pernah tau pon pasal sebamed). skin fina agak sensitif juga. fina tak boleh tidur atas cadar i, kalau tak naik laa rashes. jadi dia kene tidur atas tilam dia, ataupon beralaskan kain bersih lain. aduhai princess abesss.

jarang sekali dapat dengar hadzim menangis masa dia baby dulu. fina plak tak de laa kerap sangat menangis, tp kalau nak dibandingkan dgn hadzim dia kuat sikit laa menangis. suara pun boleh tahan kuat jugak. baby girl kot, manja lebih ;)

hadzim sangatlah suka mandi, tak pernah menangis masa mandi. mungkin sebab masa pregnantkan hadzim dulu i banyak swimming (until 8 months pegi swimming lagi yo!). by 2 months hadzim dah tak mandi pakai air panas dah, bedal saja mandi kat sink dengan air paip yang sejuk. unlike fina, setiap kali mandi mesti nangis, takut air! nangis stok kene pukul punye, sampai meraung-raung. mula-mula tu sape-sape mandikan dia panik laa dengar dia nangis, lama-lama dah biasa dah. mungkin fina jadi macam tu sebab i langsung tak pergi swimming time pregnantkan dia. so next-pregnant must-go-for-swimming. lesson learnt!

hadzim suka ngempeng. nak tido kene ngempeng. kadang-kadang sepanjang malam dia tido sambil ngempeng. fina plak tak suka ngempeng dan tidak bergantung kepada ngempeng untuk tido. once she done, she will immediately released the nipple. masa tido malam pon sama, sampai i tak sedar bilalah dia unlock ;)

hadzim tak cerewet part susu. be it susu sejuk (tak sempat panas sepenuhnya) or fm, semua dia balun. unlike fina, she refused to drink ebm, siap buat muka lain maybe sbb rasa dah lain kot (tapi i paksa juga, so sekarang dah ok dah). i can see i will face the problem when switching fina's milk to fm later, she is so choosy!

hadzim tido malam bangun 2-4 kali untuk bf. while fina 1-2 times only. i is suka!!

bila tukar pampers hadzim time dia tengah tido, dia akan rilek jek tido. fina plak selalunya menagis time tukar pampers, masa tengah tido tukar pampers pon dia akan nangis. lepas tukar terus tido balik. fina really don't like pampers changing.

during first 2 months, hadzim berak between 6-8 times per day. while fina 3-5 times. baby girl kurang berak kah ..?

hadzim bole main sorang-sorang, chill sorang-sorang sambil tengok tv & lepak diam-diam kat bouncer dia. while fina cepat boring kalau duduk sorang-sorang, mulalah dia panggil-panggil orang dan suruh angkat dia. akan melalak kalau tak de orang angkat dia. lebih suka position berdiri daripada baring bila pegang dia. ohhh mengadewww.

i rasa fina lebih bergerak aktif compared to hadzim. fina tak reti duduk diam, tangan kaki semua asyik bergerak-gerak, kalau pakai selimut abis semua dia tolak. kalau pakai booties pon entah mana-mana tercampak (booties fina banyak hilang sebelah, entah mana-mana laaa jatuh). pernah sekali entah mcm mana fina buat sampai tertanggal seluar panjang dia, terbugil pakai pampers jek. eyhhh dia dah pandai bukak seluar sendiri ke..? hehe. i have no idea how she could do that ...

(itu saja yang dapat i fikir buat masa sekarang).

mama kata, bersalinkan hadzim susah, dah laa overdue, baby distress & kena caesar. bila dah caesar maka lambatlah nak recover. sebab tu Allah bagi hadzim yang baik & mudah dijaga masa dalam pantang. segala-galanya senang untuk hadzim.
tak seperti hadfina. sangat mudah bersalinkan dia, sakit sekejap jek & dapat deliver normal (Allah bagi apa yang i doa & harapkan). tapi dugaan datang ketika menjaganya, macam-macam kerenah. memang diva abis, haha.
tak pelah ... God is just being fair.
dan i terima dengan hati yang terbuka

our first vacation in 2012. weehoooo.

haruslah ada vacation thn ni sbg balas dendam thn lps tak ke mana-mana pon.

apapun, maternity leave should ends with vacation ... tak gitewww? hihihi ;)

went to USS on last monday (30/1).

pegi weekdays mmg terbaek. org tak berapa ramai & q kejap jek. i loikeee.

fina yang kene tinggal. sorrylah cik adik sayang. tak sesuai lg nak ikut. lgpon cuaca panas (mcm2 alasan huhuhu). we will bring you next time okayah? fina left with my mom at my aunty's place in singapore.

we took train from my aunty's place in eunos to pearl harbour. then change to monorail from vivo city to sentosa.

we purschased the USS ticket by online. hadzim tak payah bayar yeeeeeaa (kids aged 4 & above saja kene bayar. jimattt).

height requirement. thank God most of the ride hadzim dapat naik.

had our snack bar. boleh bawak makanan ok! tak de pon kecoh nak check bag mcm kat Disneyland HK aritu. huh.kalau tau tak de check bag haruslah aku bawak bekal nasik lomak terusss.

hadzim's 1st ever roller coaster ride. siap cakap "nak lagi". hamboiii tak takut langsung.

lunch. and its halal yo! (tapi mahal nak mamp ... makan ajee laaa hehe).

break for praying & pumping in the surau (surau pon ada yo dalam ni!).

and hadzim took his nap. hafdzuan took the chance for galactica roller coaster ride.

galactica roller coaster ride yg bisa muntah serta sudah menelan 4bijik i phone aritu ... i jaga handphone dia kat bawah ;) (sbnrnye ngeri nak naik sorang2 hehe).

kecik jek USS ni kalau nak compare dgn HK Disneyland masa i pegi thn 2010 dulu. siap bole round 2 kali lg USS ni, punyelah kecik, hehe.

apa pun kami sekeluarga mmg enjoy walaupon hadzim byk buat scene kat USS. maka dengan itu i pon semangat nak start keje hari ni.

hadzim & playschool

hadzim on his first day to playschool

hadzim is 2 1/2 years right now.
some people say its still early to send him for school.
i have my own reasons why i need to send him now even though he is not 3 yet.

1 - since he was born, my mom took care of hadzim. faham-faham sajalah anak duduk rumah ni kalau nak dicompare dengan anak-anak duduk nursery dari kecik. i personally felt kids who stays with grandparents / babysitter are always behind compared to nursery kids ... they are lack of social skills (tak pandai share mainan, berkawan & etc), communication skills (maklumlah dok borak dengan nenek jek) & lack of toddler activities (ye aku admit mmg tak brape nak rajin buat aktiviti dgn anak (kecuali outdoor activities jek hehe) mcm mak-mak lain sbb aku busy tengok cite korea kalau kat rumah hahaha). so we decided to send him to playschool (playschool ok, bukan tadika) so that he can mix around with toddlers at his age, make some friends, improve his communications skills (sbb hadzim tak cekap bercakap lagi huhu), filled up his daily routine dgn aktiviti-aktiviti berfaedah spt coloring, learning ABC 123 daripada dok layan dvd & main langgar-langgar kereta mainan dia dung-dang-dung-dang-bingit telinga kat rumah ni.

2 - to give my mom break since she's going to take care of fina too. at least half of the day, while hadzim was at his school, my mom can arrange her time to do her work (and that includes her korean drama series huahuahua). petang tu hadzim balik school cuma tinggal nak makan & tido jek. so less burden for her :)

so far hadzim was doing well on his school.
bole bangun awal sendiri tak payah kejut around 7.30am.
had breakfast at home, mandi, pakai baju school & kemudian ayah hantar ke school.
he didnt cry when we send him to school (eyhh tapi smlm masa amik dia, dia tgh nangis sbb tengok kawan-kawan dah balik & i was late pick him up haha).
teacher said he followed the instruction very well, pastu main kejap, pastu sambung buat coloring.
i think its a good start for him.
balik sekolah terus lapa. mintak nasi. mintak susu & off to sleep. should be a tiring day for him.
anyway, his teacher said he broke one of their school table yesterday .. aduhai anakkk. ni baru 2nd day ;)

so this is our plan for hadzim & hope he can cope with our plan:
3 years - playschool (Krista)
4 years - islamic medium (here we have Pasti kindergarten)
5 & 6 years - english medium (not sure where to enrol yet)

mak pak excited kemain, ni baru playschool. darjah 1 nnt tak tau laa camne hihi ;)

so how was your kids doing at their school?
ada yang menangis-menangis, hilang stokin or pecahkan meja mcm hadzim jugak ke?

Recap my wonderful 2011

flashback on how wonderful my 2011 journey was :)

Jan - moved to new work place. good pay, good company, good colleague, good location (just 12mins away from my home, my top priority when looking for a job). the best part is, my company is going to re-locate in Nilai in few months. that is double joy for me because it just 4mins away from my home. weeehoooooo! bercita-cita nak g keje naik basikal jek lepas re-locate ni hihihi ;)

Feb - kitchen extension was completed, so does our kitchen cabinet. we were very happy for the outcome (met our expectation) and finally the spacious kitchen we got. yeahhhh.

March - i was conceived for number 2 as per plan :)

May - decided to end my breastfeeding journey. hadzim was 1y 11mths at that time.

June - throw 2nd birthday party for hadzim.

watch arsenal game here, in Bukit Jalil stadium. weehoooo (tp still kichiwa sbb fabregas tak de laa pulak huhu).

Nov - had my babymoon (kemaruk nak vacation punye pasal haha).

above all, the most important thing happened in 2011 was the arrival of our 2nd bundle of joy, Hadfina Farwizah. and the best part is, i managed to deliver her thru normal delivery as what i'm hoping & praying for. syukur.

2011 is the most wonderful year for me. everything was good (at least for me) and runs smoothly
:) alhamdulillah. lets hope for another wonderful year of 2012, for us & for everybody else too :)

things i missed for this year:

1 - vacation. sedihhhhh. maka kenelah qada' pada tahun ini!

2 - Hafdzuan's convocation. hahaha nasib laa badan, baby keluar awallah plak kali ni ;)

Hadfina - 1 month

Fina turn 1 month yesterday.

pity her, kat muka skang ada rashes la pulak. put the blame on me, i took some supplement and cause all the rashes :(

sedih tengok dia. harap-harap cepat laa muka licin kembali.

to be honest, taking care of fina is way different from hadzim.

hadzim masa baby, siang ke malam ke tido manjang. malam-malam bangun susu pastu sambung tido balik. cool and rilek jek lepak main sorang-sorang. and he got amazing skin, langsung tak pernah rashes (maybe masa tu sbb i didn't take any supplement / jamu kot). pendek kata memang senanglah jaga dia.

compared to fina, tersangatttt laa manja. anak perempuan kot :)

suka tahan mata, dah ngantuk pon cuba nak tahan. malam-malam bangun pastu bole plak lepak-lepak sampai 2, 3 jam (tapi malam td dah ok plak, harap-harap kekal laa malam ni dan malam-malam seterusnya). pastu sikit-sikit hek-hek (panggil org). dan sekarang rashes pulak :(

different baby different style laa kot ... now i can feel the different & make comparison. huhu.

hubs & I shaved her head on her day 21. sudah botakkk :)

managed to capture bro - lil sis moment, finally :)

abang is playing his role very well right now :)

baru 16 hari

disebabkan dari hari pertama lg dah start ngepam (have to supply milk to Fina since she was in NICU), tak pasal-pasal dah terrrrstart buat stok skali ...

baru 16 hari. frozen stok dah 100+ oz *alhamdulillah*.

target setiap hari adalah 10oz perday utk buat stok.

maka kalau 60 hari ..? owhhh damn. do i need a deep freezer? (still thinking).

nurse dah datang check baby, kata kulit dia cantik & tak de kuning.

p/s tidak berkesempatan lagi nak capture moment abang-adik sbb abang jarang sgt pegi kat adik, so susah nak capture the moment. haihhh.

thursday, 24/11/11.

3pm - ada checkup di FPP dgn dr azmi. pegi sorang2 saje, hafdzuan ada meeting kat kl.

dr azmi cakap air ketuban dah ngam-ngam .. owhh noo .. i nak attend hafdzuan's convo on next wed (30/11/11)!! dr azmi cakap tak sempat. dia suggest to induce as soon as possible. dia suggest esok pagi jugak induce ..

blk checkup terus ke bank sebab nak settle hal ASB, nanti dah xsempat sebab ASB dah nk tutup on dec. mmg tak de rezeki, sampai CIMB bbb 4.05pm. lambat 5 minit jek, ASB dah tutup. aduhai, kene pegi esok pagi nampaknya. i texted dr azmi cakap xbole check in 8am esok sbb nak setel hal kat bank, should be in by 10++am.

9pm - balun tomyam kat kedai tomyam dekat dgn rumah ni ... pedas dan sedap. nyum nyum. and yeah, contractions begins. contractions masih level geli-geli kekdahnye.

friday, 25/11/11.

7am - contractions mcm malam td, masih level geli-geli tp dah kerap sikit. xreti nak kira gap contractions so buat bodo dulu. tunggu hafdzuan balik jogging. pegi breakfast kedai mamak & CIMB bbb utk settle hal ASB. mmg Allah dah aturkan tak sempat settle ASB smlm rupanya ...

10.30am, sampai hospital putrajaya. hafdzuan nak drop kat entrance sebab kene parking jauh tapi xpe laa parking jek jauh2, i bukan sakit sangat pon, still bole jalan kaki lagi.

tgh2 jalan kaki lenggang kangkung nak ke registration counter, terasa ada bloody show. terus ke toilet dan yeayyyyy ada bloody show (gembira sbb tak pernah dpt tanda mcm ni :)).

11.15am - check in executive ward. dpt bilik double dulu sementara tunggu bilik single clear.

1pm - dr azmi datang check VE. baru 1cm. sebab dah ada keluar tanda & contraction pon dah 1x/5min (damnnn tak rasa sgt pon) so tak payah induce. let it be naturally. alhamdulillah, seperti yg diharapkan. & dr azmi said before he left "i see u tomorrow". eyhhhh aku bersalin esok ke ..? :|

3pm - dapat tukar bilik single. yeahhh. owhh i still buat keje ofis masa dlm ward hiuhiuhiu ;) main FB but didnt mention to anyone that i was in the hospital already (cuma mariam saja yang tau :)).

my final dinner. ok FPP ada menu mantop-mantop. bole pilih sendiri ekekke. ehhh bukan final lg sebenarnya. sempat suruh hafdzuan beli bubur mc d. had them at 10pm hiuhiuhiu.

11pm - dr on call datang check VE. damnnn still 1cm lg. 10 hours but still 1cm ..! bole plak nurse bakar line cakap budak bilik sblh baru pegi caesar sbb xde progress bukaan. ok thanks akak nurse!

saturday, 26/11/11.
2am - panggil akak nurse. contraction dah start kuat, 1x/3min. tp masih bole handle lg. mintak epidural tapi kene tunggu pagi baru bole dpt. nurse bg pathedine jek which is not helping at all. xde dr dtg check VE. ni laa susah FPP. dr on call tak nak usik patient FPP, nak kene tunggu own gynae to check on VE.

4am - sakit dah xbole blah. arghhh gile btol nak kene bertahan sakit mcm ni sampai pagi baru dpt epidural (dlm otak masa tu asyik fikir bersalin esok siang jek since dr azmi dah ckp mcm tu). semua tak kene. duduk tak kene, baring tak kene. hafdzuan sambil tu tolong picit belakang.

5am - ok rasa dah nak terberry sgt. pegi toilet tgk ada stain mcm kaler hijau which i know bukan datang dari lubang vuntut maknanya lubang dotdotdot. tak bole blah dah rasa nak meneran. hafdzuan terus panggil nurse ckp i dah nak meneran.
dr on call dtg check VE, dah full dilated!!! (11pm to 5am, 1cm dan terus full dilated!).
terus kalut transfer katil utk ke labor room.
rasa mcm time hadzim dulu, emergency, terus rush ke OT. but this time to labor room.
not sure tp rasanya mcm xsampai 5min dah sampai labor room. on the way kene tolak ke labor room nurse suruh tahan sikit jgn teran dulu (wth? mana boley tahan dah ..).
masuk jek labor room, transfer katil, xpayah nurse suruh i dah start meneran dah.

1st push - kuar rambut.
2nd push - kuar kepala.
3rd push - tiba2 teringat i should do a long push & a little bit screaming (hihi, mcm mana nak teran tanpa screaming hah ..?) dan terus baby melompat keluar. eyhhh dah keluar kew ..?
tak sampai seminit dlm labor room, hafdzuan baru ckp push (sekali 2 jek kot), nurse baru nak start cheering on me tapi dah keluar dah. alhamdulillah. it was easy for me. by the way, doctor on call yg sambut baby. dr azmi tak sempat datang. dia sampai jek semua sudah tamat. sampai2 terus tanya did i take any air selusuh or something sbb dia predict i bersalin sabtu thari. ok dr, u were right on baby's weight jek but not the delivery time. hehe :)

baby terus dibawa keluar (mcm hadzim jugak!! xsempat nak tgk baby masa basah-basah huhu) sebab tertelan najis masa deliver tu. dia dah berak dlm perut rupanya. the green stain yg keluar rupanya najis dia. dr azmi sambung buat jahitan which took him about 30mins. i had 3 stitches only.

lps tu nurse dtg bawak baby suruh breastfeed. masa tu laa rasa bunyi nafas dia still tak stabil & asked the doctor to re-check on the baby. sempat breastfeed baby for 1 hour. lps tu baby dah masuk NICU.

ketua sorak yang keletihan. tak tidur 1 malam. kesian.

saja nak tunjuk bilik single exec ward hosp putrajaya. ok la. lengkap ada tv, fridge, almari & sofa utk husband tido ehehe.

she was born on 26 nov 11. 5.15am. 2.84kg. 50cm.

alhamdulillah. with all the efforts, pray & Allah's will, dapat jugak bersalin normal kali ni :) bersyukur sgt.
and yeah, i am one of the successful VBAC (Vaginal birth after caesarian) hiuhiuhiu =)

untuk yang nak tau cost bersalin di FPP, i kena rm2068 which includes 2 nights spent at single room exec ward & others are normal charges (with no epidural, no vacuum). mahu bersalin di sini lagi lepas ni, worth my single cents (but not in a short time. maybe 2015 ..? =) )

alhamdulillah.
a baby girl, was born on 26 Nov 2011 (at 39w 2d), at 5.15am, Hospital Putrajaya.
she was named Hadfina Farwizah.

baby currently still in NICU, should be discharged by today.
baby tertelan najis sbb dah berak masa dalam perut. so sebab takut infections pada paru-paru & effect pada breathing, she was warded from the first day. the condition is not serious (she just need to be monitored stage by stage) & so far she's doing very well until yesterday.

hope i can bring her back home today.
welcome home Fina. everybody is waiting for you dear :)

wishlist at 2nd pregnancy

when i was pregnant with hadzim (back in 2009), i have to limit all my pregnancy wish because i was busy with our new house. masa tu laa nak pindah rumah, masa tu laa nak dapat baby. haihhhh. so we spent mostly on house stuff, baby's stuff adalah so-so sahaja :|

alhamdulillah kali ni ada rezeki lebih sikit, and hafdzuan has confirmed & transferred to pension scheme (hehe for govt staff you know what it meant right? :) *senyum sampai telinga* maka boleh laa nak wish macam-macam :)

1. Double electric breast pump
masa hadzim pakai manual pump jek, bertahan jugak mengepam sampai hadzim 14bln (stop pumping at 14months). sebab dah tau ability diri sendiri utk breastfeed for 2nd time ni (InsyaAllah), so mmg target nak angkat 1 double electric breastpump kali ni. i choosed ameda lactaline double pump. nak beli FS tak mampu (huahuahuaha).

angkut this package masa baby ekspo kat midv yesterday. package from mom's litle ones, rm888 consist of ameda double pump, ameda manual pump (kalau beli kat kedai susuibu xdpt free manual pump), cooler bag, 3 ice packs, 6 MLO bottles. me like it!

2. Babymoon
teringin nak ke Cameron highland for babymoon, tapi tak sempat *sobsob* but managed to get to Bukit tinggi. jadik laaaaa. insyaAllah going for vacation after the maternity leave ;) 2012 ialah tahun enjoyyyy (huehuehuehue).

3. Food craving
from IKEA meatballs to chinese food & shark fins soup to kedai makan arab (mandi rice, nasi khabsah, nasi maklupa & etc) to Kenny rogers to TGI to Bubba gump to Fish manhattan to Tony romas to bbq (with my family) ---> all checked!!! hahahaha puas hati mak (thank you very much hubs for layan kepala ini :))

my final food craving. tony romas, midv, yesterday. ehem, excuse me for looking fat (pregnant woman always looks fat isn't it ..?)

4. Movies list

another 3 movies for this month.

tin tin - checked! (had yesterday at GSC midv).

puss in the boots (this coming weekend, insyaAllah sempat --- i hope).

happy feet 2 - review ckp tak best. so xpe laa xtengok pon xpe. cancelled!

5. Water filter & dispenser

ehhh ni pon masuk dlm list ke ...? huehuehuhe. wanted this water filter completed with warm, hot & cold dispenser. going to be installed today. it helps my mom to re-heat the ebm later (tak mahu susahkan dia kene masak air panas every time to re-heat ebm) or to make hot milo (as per hafdzuan's demand) at every night :)

"mahu milo? ok sekarang jugak i buatttt" --- a reason when hafdzuan menyoal siasat why do i need this dispenser. hihihii. and it works.

6. Spanx

has promised hubs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight & to have better figure. so here the effort. hope it works!

i wish (or dalam bahasa melayunya = mengidam) to have a trip to Cameron Highland during this pregnancy.

but due to time constraint (sbb hafdzuan byk sgt out station and other plans slot in weekends) maka tak sempatlah pegi. sedihhhhhhhhhh :( harap-harap baby tak meleleh air liur sbb mengidam pegi Cameron tak kesampaian :P.

so on the last weekend, i kinda begged hafdzuan to bring me to bukit tinggi (jadik laaaaaaa, daripada tak de langsung vacation ala-ala sejuk Cameron Highland seperti yg di-mengidamkan). owh, i've never been to bukit tinggi yet. and cameron highland pulak, my last time been there was last 20 years kottt (mmg layak utk di-mengidam kan? :P).

we spent about 4 hours at the bukit tinggi. went to the animal park (shouldn't be called as animal park, maybe rabbit park jek kot, even the rabbit park at broga semenyih is better!), the colmar and botanical garden.

hadzim dah kene gigit masa bg makan rabbit terus takmo bg makan rabbit haha. tp ada percubaan untuk dukung rabbit plak ;)

susah betul nak amik gamba dgn hadzim sekarang. tak reti nak duduk diam.

tetiba pegi terjah masuk kat tempat mainan ni masa orang tgh main. aduhaiiii buat malu ajek. habis semua org tengok.

mcm biasa menagih simpati orang lalu lalang mintak tolong amikkan gambar keluarga. kang xde plak gamba sekeluarga..

hafdzuan yg suka collect fridge magnet skrg ni. local pon belasah. mak suka yg oversea ajewww ;)

penulis turut mendaki bukit mencanak kat botanical garden ni. sampai ada laa datang contraction geli-geli. kalau terberanak kat sini dah kene bg nama jopun kat anak haku, xpon nama bunga ke sbb kekdahnye beranak kat botanical garden gituuu ;)

and then, we spent about 3 hours at midvalley. hafdzuan need to pick up his Nike run race kit. i dont know where all the energy comes from to this 9 months-pregnant-lady for the whole day. phewwww.

p/s. things i wanna do before i'm going off for maternity leave:

- wedding close friend tomorrow (insyaAllah sempat).

- watching tin-tin, happy feet & puss in the boots.

- tony romas. hihihi :P

pregnancy update (finally)

finally i can update the entire journey for my 2nd pregnancy.
haha. better late than never ;)

- first trimester, morning sickness lebih kurang mcm hadzim, ada laa few times muntah. ehh this time byk sket kot around 12times of vomitting (wahhh siap kire). time hadzim dulu around 6 times sajek. yang lain-lain semua ok, sama mcm hadzim.

- went for 4d scan at 28wks dgn harapan nak tengok gender. stengah jam godek-godek baby still cover baekkkk punye. hadzim dulu by 16wks elok jek tau, masa scan mmg manjang duduk terkangkang ;)

- went for normal checkup a few weeks after raya. agak sengal sikit sebab pegi checkup waktu petang, dah laa siang tu ada jamuan raya kat office di mana diri sendiri telah makan-sehingga-lupa-diri. so masa checkup tu mmg padan-muke-kaulah. berat naik 3.5kg within 2 weeks. maka silalah minum air gula yoo (masa hadzim tak pernah kena minum air gula). by the way, the taste of air gula was not that bad ... ok jek. xde laa manis sgt ... ke nurse salah bancuh ..? ermm tak sure pulak..

- nurse kat KK buat onar cakap baby was in transverse position (at 33wks pregnancy). lepas tu doctor check ckp manader transverse, elok jek kepala kat bawah. the next day checkup kat FPP pon doctor dah konfem siap scan & he said baby tak transverse pon & dah pusing bawah dah. tak pelah, at least i know something about transverse (cuak punye pasal terus google pasal transverse).

- alhamdulillah through out this pregnancy, HB darah tak pernah merah (reading always above 11).

- berat up and down. haha kelakor btol, tak pernah-pernah turun berat masa pregnant hadzim dulu, this time sampai 2 kali :)

- gained 10kg already (at almost 9 months). target kali ni tak lebih 13kg, hadzim dulu total increment 15kg.

- so far tak pernah lagi kena heart burn. yeayyyy.

- tak pernah lagi kena kaki cramp masa tgh tido until now (hadzim dulu start 8 months dah kene dah, tp few times jek la). alhamdulillah. padahal this time tak berapa gile minum susu pon mcm hadzim dulu ;)

- belum start sakit pinggang, or kaki bengkak.

tu saje kot. everything good so far :) alhamdulillah.
masih bertenaga. masih boleh buat kerja rumah. masih boleh turun naik ke production line yang 4 tingkat tu, or naik office sendiri kat tingkat 3. masih itu masih ini :)

ada 1 perkara saja merunsingkan sekarang.
hafdzuan is going to have his DPA convocation thingy on 30 Nov. i was so looking forward to attend his convo dari dulu lagi. haih. tak tau laaa sempat ke tak sebab dah dekat sgt-sgt dgn due date. kalau pon dapat pegi nak pakai baju apa (hehe sbnrnye part ni yang paling serabut sekali huahuahuahua).

nanti mahu update checklist bersalin pulak ..!

Enjoying my final weeks

arghhh, i hope i got time to update on my 2nd pregnancy in these few-final weeks left.
i should update something, for my own memory & record at least :)
(but i was too busy, lost of new model coming in ... and broadband at home sucks big time).

less than 8 weeks to go.
i wanted to watch movie every single week before i delivered. so what more movies will we having until december eyh ..? should take note on this.

we went for Real Steel yesterday. a very good movie and hadzim nampak enjoy gile siap bangun buat aksi tumbuk-tumbuk & asyik sebut "robot". but hadzim was restless during the final 20min, maka haruslah haku bersila dgn dia kat belakang sekali sbb hadzim kejap main tangga, kejap berdiri, kejap duduk, kejap berlari. haihhhhh. harap2 lepas ni tak lama sgt kene cuti tengok wayang. mahu cuba try bawak baby plak masuk wayang! :)

hadzim dah lalok lepas tengok Real Steel, lepas tu terus pengsan. thank God.

prepared the poached egg (terpengaruh dgn masterchef & decided i have to give a try!) for hafdzuan on yesterday morning, before he left for Taipei.
i didnt taste it (not in the mood to take egg as early as 6am so i didnt taste it myself but hafdzuan said its good :)). owh dia memang sgttt suka half-cooked-egg.

poached egg (recipe from here). sprinkle with chille flakes & pepper. served with cheese & toasted bread.

hadzim on cars bag & the tragedy

finally we found this cars bag on last saturday for hadzim, at one of this stall at the curve. haruslah pakai dari siang ke malam. bukak masa nak mandi jek tu pon puas dipujuk supaya bukak.

but on that night (saturday), it was the unforgotten night for me.
hadzim was playing with the baby bouncer in his play room (while carrying his cars bag of course), alone, and i did not have any idea how it was happened. suddenly he cried loud and his mouth was full with blood. darah merata-rata atas lantai. siap terpercik kene dekat bag cars baru dia tu. tengok mulut penuh darah, tak nampak gigi pon (i thought he has lost his teeth!). then baru perasan dah terkoyak sebelah dalam bibir. terus rush ke klinik (around 9pm). on the way to clinic, his mouth has stop bleeding and he stop crying. senyap jek...

sampai klinik, i rush to the counter (while hafdzuan carry him) and i said to the girl at the counter, this is an emergency case, i need emergency treatment. my son's mouth fulled with blood.
the girl asked where's your son?
tu dia ...

elokkkkk jek tengah main slide dalam klinik tu (saw his t-shirt with blood spot..?). buek malu emak kau ajooo keco-keco ckp emergency. huhu.

went to see the doctor and the doctor said tak payah jahit (walaupon panjang luka about 2cm & dalam plak tu). pakai cream saje dan bole cantum balik. cuma lambat sikit baik laa sebab tak jahit.

haih, sebab tu hari minggu so diam saja. kalau weekdays harus terus ke klinik abang haku saja so dia bole jahit immidiately (my brother said kalau jahit lagi cpt baik, xpayah suffer lama-lama sbb akan jadik ulser). the next day mmg dah jadik ulser so dah xbole jahit dah.

currently hadzim looks ok, bibir bengkak sikit, tp makan mcm biasa. siap bedal kerepek pedas lagi.

pity him :(

this morning, before i off to work. bagun-bangun terus cari bag cars dia. bibir masih bengkak.

smurfs, barney stinson & emma pillsbury

we had Cars on the final week before raya di bulan puasa, and last weekend we brought hadzim for smurfs.

hehe baru terhegeh-hegeh nak tengok ... ;) but better late than never aite ..?

hadzim were good all the way cuma biasalah ada part cakap2 yang lama sikit dia dah restless. but he stayed until end of the movie.

3 reasons to watch this movie:

come on, if you were born on 1980s, im sure you will know this cartoon. i've been grow up to watch this series. the song "lalalalalalala", haih, bring on the childhood memories laaa :)

2nd reason - if you are the follower of How i Met Your Mother, you must be dying to watch Neil Patrick Harris. argh, the kemaruk feeling to watch Barney Stinson on the screen (please, please new series im so cant wait for you to come in!! heard the HIYM new series will be on tv on end of Sept .. is it ..? i miss you Mr Barney! by the way, he didnt played as a "barney" in this movie .. come on, this is a kids movie, how can u expect he to be Barney in Smurfs ..? haha ;) padan muka high expectation sgt :P

another reason to watch - the pretty Jayma Mays (who looks so pretty when she played Emma Pillsbury in Glee, but quite plain in Smurfs). arghhh, the feeling of kemaruk to watch Glee new season. cepatlahhhhh ..!

p/s loser gile rasanya because i have no tv series to follow in the list right now ... can you suggest me one ..? :( so what are you on now? please share :)

adik hadzim says "ouchhh, dont snap my photo", while covered his face.

im on my 3rd trimester already.
had my first time 4d scan last weekend (havent do even during hadzim). tengah week cantik so its nice to have a 4d scan right now. saje mengada mahu buat, bila lagi mahu buatkan? thehehe.

at first we wanted to be cool-seperti-kentang and surprise ourselves (hafdzuan & me) by not knowing the gender of the baby until he/she delivered. but later we found its difficult for us especially on choosing the name (unlike hadzim, we already know the gender by 16th week and by 17th week we already decide his name). so we thought okay, hopefully the 4d scan will revealed the gender of the babylah!

owhh by the way, syok rupanya buat 4d scan ni. bole nampak adik hadzim tengah menguap la, tengah tutup mulut la, tengah tutup mata la, pusing sana sini, posing letak tgn mcm sakit kepala la, tak duduk diam langsung & mcm-mcm gaya lg. its kinda cute to see all this acticity inside :)

the baby is smarter than us. wanted to give us surprise pulak, didnt show the genital at all! maka padanlah muka we olzz, balik dgn hampa sebab kene perah kepala pikir nama anak for both gender nampaknya ;) tak pe lah, surprise pon surprise laaa nakkkk...

anyway, if u are interested to have a 4d scan or detail scan, i would suggest this place to u - klinik jameaton in seri kembangan. their charges are:
rm100 - 4d scan.
rm100 - detail scan.
rm180 - both 4d & detail scan.
(cd included).

i should update my 2nd pregnancy, later ...

sehari sblm raya - bertolak ke spore. sempat singgah di nike store tmn u & angsana.
sempat pegi tampines mall sblm berbuka (uniqlo sale gileee wooo), then berbuka. lepas buke jalan-jalan di geylang (dah lama gile tak pegi di mlm raya).

raya day 1.

ni jek laa gamba hadzim pakai songkok ... damnnn umah pakcik haku punye sofa & langsir ikut tema raya aku plak .. ;)

beli songkok rm15 pakainye cuma 15minit sajeee.

jalan-jalan raya. okehh sbnrnya saja nak letak gamba dgn perut (almost 7 months).

hadzim xhabis-habis dgn angry bird dia ... haihhh budak zaman skrg.

habiskan sesi beraya di rumah sedara sebelum bertolak balik ke pedas. boring, singapore dah start keje on 2nd day raya .. huh!

change toddler's passport photo

i googled to find when to change passport photo for toddler but couldn't find any.

hadzim had his own passport when he only 2 months++. see the photo above (ok, kelakau muka dia masa tu hihi). masa tu nak balik raya singapore so kene laa buat passport. this year nak balik raya singapore lagi, and hadzim already reached 2 years++. maka haruslah berubah muka iteww. so sebelum kene membebel kat officer kat causeway tu maka lebih baik tukar gambar dia sekarang.

actually there is no exact period when you have to change your toddler's photo. masa tanya kat officer to he just said --- no exact period of time, you can change your photo whenever the photo (appeared in your passport) has significant different from you current face. and oh, no charges charged.

rasanya next kene tukar photo when he reach 4 or maybe 5 laa kot. tapi masa tu dah renew passport baru dah plakkk so mmg harus kene tukar gamba :)

i have to blog bout this because hubs is too lazy to update his own blog. haha.

this is hafdzuan 3rd attempt on Olympic distance Triathlon and second time on his Port Dickson Triathlon (he took part on last year too).

all are still the same - the people (haha!), the venue, time, racing circuit, etc. thus im quite familiar with the place.

Olympic Distance: swim 1.5km, bike 40km, run 10km.

this time i have to run & chased for hafdzuan to snap his photo sambil dukung hadzim (and carrying a 5 months baby in tummy too~), hadzim adalah, erm, agak mencabar sekarang so i can't heret him nor expect him to run after me.

lepak di tepi, percubaan mengambil gambar hafdzuan dan berjaya (did u notice him? he's in the middle)

bath hadzim while waiting for hafdzuan to end his bike course. ok hadzim dah wangi dah. main kat kolam ikan jap.

hope to dress up like this aunty one day ahahahha (aunty runs for her relay team). cool~

hafdzuan grab hadzim and carry hadzim thru the finish line. heard the emcee said "here come our loving fatherrr" (that is so sweet. hafdzuan has been dreaming to run with his kid(s) at the finish line and he did it for the first time).

he did his personal best on olympic distance. congrats (2:49:21)

i followed arsenal team since i was in uni .. sebab masa tu byk hang around dgn kawan2 lelaki yg kebanyakkannya arsenal supporter (rambo especially, kan rambo kan?? haha). masa tu dok gilekan henry (but now henry is no more with arsenal huhu). then only i met hafdzuan (on my final year), lucky me because he also an arsenal supporter! =)

so when we heard arsenal is coming down to play here in KL, haruslah pergi!!

i bought the ticket and it was anniversary gift for hubs :)

so we make our moved to emirates (ahakssss) on that 13july (sanggup amik cuti the whole day kahkahkah). tapi siang tu bawak hadzim jalan-jalan dulu & have our anniversary lunch.

road to the emirates. pinjam motor cousin sbb takmo berhimpit carik parking. ok dah lama gile tak naik moto dgn hafdzuan. last thn 2006 kot hahaha.

hadzim's birthday

last year, we decided not to have a birthday party for hadzim.
we think he is too small to understand what is birthday party all about, he even dont know how to blow the candle nor to sing the birthday song. so we just celebrate between the family members.

but this year, we decided to have one. eventhough it was not as grand with clowns or face painting artist, we gathered our close friends and family members to join us and celebrate hadzim's 2nd birthday.
i dont think we will organize the birthday party every year. maybe only when he reach 2, 7 and perhaps 17 .. i dont know .. we'll see later.

before the makan-makan started, my father in law conduct a short tahlil & doa selamat for my brother's father in law who passed away 2 days before (alfatihah to arwah).

these are a few photos during the party. argghhh, i forgot to take the guests photos. hafdzuan and i were too busy entertained the guest and forgot bout the camera. photo credit to my brother, ashra & lilia (thank you!).

im too lazy to put captions on all the photos. but photos with hadzim and his friends wearing the party hat is the most comelllllllls :)

thanks to my mum who cooked all the dishes. she is a super chef (she cooked soto, briyani bihun, bamia & bread, curry puff, egg tart, jelly for desert). i only make the fruit salad huahuahuahua :P

and i should thanked my aunty who sponsor the cars cake.

and thank you to every body who willing to come over to our place and spent their time for the party.

Hadzim Faeiq is 2!

as what other moms would say when their babies is not a baby anymore --> "time flies too fast". time will always be the one to blame hehe:)
i couldn't believe its has been 2 years my life showered with his existance, laugh & love.

will write more on hadzim's development in his blog, especially on cerita hadzim telan duit syling tu...

hadzim during his first hair cut on last saturday (mamak tu mmg over potong rambut hadzim tau .. huhu, bukan i yg suruh buat mcm ni pon!!).

my husband is now a marathoner! :)

hafdzuan has made his virgin marathon (distance of 42.195km) succesfully on KL Marathon held on last sunday. and im so proud of him :)

sunday - we took off from our home at 4am (did not bring hadzim as it too early to wake him up). arrived dataran 4.35am and damnnnn all the road has closed already. i dropped hafdzuan near the dataran as he panicked we still did not find any parking (around jalan tangsi) so i asked him to go first. finally i parked my car at taman tasik perdana (jauh nak mamp) and i have to walk to dataran. as i arrived dataran, i heard the sounds letting the full marathon runners to start their run. huh, quite frustrated, this is the first run i did not wave him at the starting line. make some walk at the dataran, saw the half marathon runners released at 6am before i proceed to masjid negara for subuh prayer. aroud 8.30am, i make my moved to the finish line to snap for hafdzuan's photo (the routine, dah namanya bini cum drebar cum photographer cum tukang-urut-lepas-run).

unofficial time. quite frustrated as he did not get <5hours as targetted (he said he got the painfull cramp for the final 10km). its ok, this is his first time. i believed he can do better in the next marathon.

watching movies: dulu & sekarang

dulu, masa zaman belajar, g dating jek mesti tengok wayang. abis exam / test layan wayang. nasib laa dapat pasangan yang kaki wayang jugak.

lepas dah kawen pon aktiviti menonton wayang masih lagi priority. sampai laa pregnant.

lepas bersalin anak pertama, terpaksa cuti daripada aktiviti tengok wayang. layan dvd saje. tak pon tunggulah kuar kat tv masa raya saje. lepas bersalinkan hadzim, pernah sekali jek tinggal hadzim untuk keluar berdua tengok wayang, tu pon sebab dah tak boleh tahan sangat dah nak layan avatar 3d. tinggallah hadzim kat mak mertua. tpppppppp rasa bersalah ya amattt. sejak daripada tu tak pernah keluar berdua sesaje nak g tengok wayang. even on anniversary pon haruslah keluar bawak anak.

sampailah hadzim dah sethn lebih. disebabkan kat rumah selalu ajar dia tengok dvd, dah terer dah dia dok melanguk depan tv layan cite-cite baby dia or movies (animal movies, action movies, robots & etc as long not a romantic movies yang asyik cakap-cakap jek).

as a start, we brought hadzim to watch Rio on last april. boleh jek dia layan sampai habis.
last weekend try bawak tengok x-men pulak (mak pak dia dah tak tahan tengok x-men in cinemas now). wahhhh, berjalan lancar (cuma ada part cakap yang lama sikit dia tak dok diam jap, kejap nak duduk dgn ayah, kejap nak duduk dgn ibu dia). sukses!

maka, sekarang ni, haruslah i enjoy kaw-kaw layan movie tahun ni sebelum bercuti lagi setahun pada tahun hadapan (sob .. sob ..).

next movies in the list - green lantern, transformers, smurfs, cars (cars ni mmg favourite hadzim, kat rumah ni pon hari-hari layan cars 1). cite-cite kartun & action movies haruslah in the list. romantic / comedy movies?? dah xbleh layan lg dah .. huhu.

hadzim yang teruja tengok banner cars, terus jerit "carrrrr". hang on there hadzim. we'll meet them in aug!

6am - depart from my in laws place in Pedas to Pantai Puteri, Melaka.

7am - safely arrived Pantai Puteri.

8am - hafdzuan started his triathlon event, an olympic distance (1.5km swim - 40km bike - 10km run).

11.20am - tri done. pack his bicycle.
11.45am - heading back to Pedas to have lunch & fetch hadzim.
12.45pm - safely arrived Pedas.
1.30pm - heading back to Bukit Mahkota. both hafdzuan & hadzim pengsan di dalam kereta.
2.10pm - safely arrived Bukit Mahkota & started packing (minor stuff).
3.15pm - leaving for airport.
5.30pm - hafdzuan fly for manila for 5 days. breath in, breath out. pheewwwww.
6.30pm - me having dinner at fatty crab with family at bes raya hiway. the fatty crab restaurant was facing the mines lake. awsome.

relieved? i should say yes (in slow volume).

hadzim is going to turn 23 months next week.
ok, lagi sebulan je lagi nak masuk 2 tahun .. tempoh yang digalakkan untuk breastfeed.
but i decided to quit my breastfeeding journey right now, right here. im done here. i have no regret at all.

some people says breastfeeding during pregnancy will lead to misscarriage. yelah mana nak bagi zat untuk anak lg, untuk diri sendiri lagi, untuk baby yang dikandung lg - 3 in 1.
at first, i wanted to keep on breastfeed until hadzim reach 2 years.
tapi macam tak boleh laa .. balik rumah jek hadzim nak breastfeed. and suddenly lepas bf dia, mesti terasa lepak gilerrr. penat dia lain macam. dan kadang-kadang terasa tensyen sebab hadzim sengaja nak bergayut.
and hadzim himself, tak de unsur-unsur nak weaning pon, walaupon org kata the baby will refused himself after the mom get pregnant .. tapi tak de pongggg :(

so after discussion with hafdzuan (quitting breastfeeding have to get husband's permission ok ..?) i tried to wean hadzim since last week.
with few suggestions from friends in facebook, as first try, i put on salt on the nipple.
the first 2 trial, hadzim refused to breastfeed (tapi mak dia plak emo .. sedih sebab tak ready lg .. mental!! tapi akhirnya semangat kene jadi kuat. sampai bile? sampai dah ada adik baru ank stop ..?).
kesian hadzim yang buat muka pelik makan garam dan terus cakap "nanak!!"

2 days after that, dia dah bijak sikit.
he stared at the nipple and removed the salt himself! warghhhhh sangat tensyen. lepas abis removed garam dia sucks balik. aduhai anakku.

then i try letak serbuk kopi plak (on last saturday and sunday).
it works.
until today, it has been 4 days hadzim refused to bf. i did asked him, "hadzim nak ----- tak?" he quickly replied "nanak". tp ada ada kekadang dia tonyoh2 muke .. mcm gian plak .. ;)

its actually quite frustating for me, as i was the one who quit & give up, not hadzim.
i wish hadzim is the one who refused himself naturally, but since it doesn't work at all, i have to do this and its just too sad :(

anyhow, 23 months is a wonderful and unforgettable journey for me.
i should take some rest before i started on the second one .. soon.

babytv on ch618

i used to buy babytv dvd for hadzim. i have quite number of babytv collections.

hadzim currently addicted to watch dvd. so normally i let him be on his space, his own tv for his favourite dvd. his current favourite (besides babytv) is how to train your dragon. sikit-sikit "tukar .. nak gen (dragon)", or "nak berrr (oliver - babytv series)".

last 2 months when i went back to singapore, i found they have this babytv channel.

it was soo cool to have it on tv. i wonder why astro did not have them.

and last sunday, i saw the advertisement saying astro will play babytv on channel 618.
it started yesterday, 9 may 2011.
owhh yes.. hadzim loves it. gembira tak terkata.
and now i can lipat baju or cooking without any interruptions.
thank you astro.
erm, btw, starting from oct, we need to pay (forgot either rm5 or rm10) to subscribe for the channel.
ok la tu, beli 1 dvd pon dah cost more than rm10 :)

so parents, lets switch to 618 now. enjoy while its free.

number 2 - ready & execute.

A few friends asked me whether I was ready for this second pregnancy or it was an “accident”. To be honest, this is a well planned pregnancy. Yes, we wanted to have a 2 years gap (by counting the years, hadzim was born on 2009 and this one will be out on 2011, but it actually will be 2 ½ years gap).
While pregnant with hadzim, hubs & I were discussing how much gap we will plan to have the second one. And we both agreed to have 2 years gap. The reason – mahu hadzim ada kawan untuk membesar sama-sama. So tak de la boring sangat. Plus, I wanted to have 2 kids before I reach 30 (my goal when I reach 3 series!).

For a caesarian mom cum non-user of family planning, during our first year after giving birth, I was scared to death every time I waited for my period. The first year is a “critical year” for me. Kalau bukan sebab Caesar tak de la takut sangat, but because of the caesarian we have to be super extra careful. Takut hoiihhhh. Kalau bersalin normal, nak beranak tiap-tiap tahun pon tarak hal (but still kalau ada proper plan lagi bagus kan? So tak de la menangis kalau anak masih kecil lagi tetiba pregnant pulak. Tapi kalau dah teraccident, redha sajelah. Tak guna nak menangis. Kesian kat anak dalam perut tu, padahal salah sendiri ;)).

Yes we planned for a 2 years gap, but since I was a caesarian with the first one, thus I should put a maximum limit to get pregnant and still remain to have the 2 years gap. So we planned for a November / December 2011 baby. Alhamdulillah, Allah heard our pray. I feel glad because it was an easy way for me to conceive. A good friend of mine, who was bunting pelamin for her first one and she planned for number 2 after 3 years but until now she is not lucky yet (been trying for 3/4 months already). So who said it’s easy to conceive even though the first time was like too easy? Its Allah blessed. Allah knows better and have better plan for us.

Anyways, this second one will be a benchmark in our kids plan. This is the only and final chance for me to have normal delivery. If I were opt for caesarian (again), thus 3 kids is a full stop. We don’t have much choice . Its too sad because we plan to have more than 3 kids but … Allah knows better (what more can I say ..?).

Number 3? It should be a longggg gap one. 

I just hope we will stick to the gap & plan because I don’t plan to use any family planning at all after this (degil! And we think we can survive without family planning accessories).

So, are you ready for the second one? Don’t simply get pregnant because your friends have theirs, but do have a proper planning so we don’t get upset when we suddenly saw the double line. Kesian baby yang dikandung, sebab ibu menangis sedih kerana terrrrpaksa mengandungkan dia. Air mata yg keluar bukan air mata kegembiraan tapi air mata kesedihan.

Tapi kalau dah accident … terima sajalah dengan hati yang redha =)

ini bukan competition, sebab tak dapat hadiah pon ...

kenapa mesti ada orang yang menganggap perkara-perkara begini adalah competition ...?

1. siapa kawen dulu dia menang.
dulu, sebelum aku kawen, ada kawan lelaki (kawan rapat) sms aku.
w: farah, si m (kawan lelaki juga) nak kawen bln 12 ni.. haha dia kawen dulu sebelum kau .. haha kau kalah ..."
aku: yeke? dia nak kawen dulu biarlah dia kawen. jalan laa dulu, tak de hal lah. menang pon dapat hadiah apa ..? come on la. aku mmg dah plan nak kawen bln 7 thn dpn.. so tak de hal utk aku.."
aku tak faham kenapa ada orang yang berfikiran kolot macam tu. nak kawen dulu, kawenlah!! aku tak de hal laa.. sbb aku mmg nak kawen tahun depan. get it?!
kenapa mesti jadikan pertandingan - sape kawen dulu, dia menang?
kalau dah jodoh sampai, ada la, mungkin orang lain pon ada jodoh jugak, cuma antara cepat dan lambat sahaja. jangan hina orang yang lambat bertemu jodoh. bukankah lebih baik untuk mendoakan dia supaya bertemu jodoh dan bahagia seperti kamu juga?

2. siapa pregnant dulu dia menang.
rezeki pregnant tu kat tangan kau ke? tuhan saje nak uji kau, lagi pulak kalau bunting pelamin. mesti kau rasa sangat hebat kan ..? pernahkah kau rasa bersyukur, betapa ramai yang teringin menjadi seperti kau - lps kawen terus pregnant..? haih. perlukah competition untuk hal-hal takdir Tuhan ..?

3. sape dapat anak no 2 dulu dia menang.
dulu, masa aku tengah pregnantkan hadzim, ada kawan bgtau:
a: tak sangka kau kawen dulu sebelum aku. lepas tu pregnant dulu sebelum aku. tak pe nanti aku potong kau untuk nombor 2 ...
aku: haaa ye laa kau pregnant laa nombor 2 cepat-cepat cebelum aku nanti .. (malas nak layan).
haih. tu pon nak jadikan competition. lantak kau la nak pregnant dulu ke hapa. aku ada plan sendiri untuk yang no 2, no 3 dan seterusnya (harap-harap plan menjadi tanpa eksiden & mendapat izin Allah). kalau rasa nak jalan dulu, silakan. aku & suami ada perancangan kami sendiri.

4. aku mesti breastfeed lagi lama daripada si dia. barulah aku menang.
aku dapat rasakan ada seorang dua yang berhati busuk yang berfikiran ataupon berniat macam ni. kenapa tak bole tanam dalam hati "isk, bagusnye dia dapat breastfeed anak dia lama macam tu. aku mesti jadi macam dia, demi anak aku .." bukan sebaliknya. haih.

harap-harap dapat khatam Quran lagi ketika mengandung pada kali ini, sama seperti yang terdahulu.

kau bukakanlah pintu rezeki seperti ini untuk sahabat-sahabat ku yang lain terutamanya --- Maya, kak Ramlah, Elaiza, Dilla, Dalie, Jamal, Hana Adli, Sya, Atul dan semua umat (maaf tidak teringat semua) yang mengharapkan sesuatu yang pertama kali yang seperti ini, juga yang mengharap untuk kali kedua.

my father dragged the whole family to watch this musical theater on last saturday.
it was the first time for hadzim. seems like he able to behave very well. we will try to bring him for a movies next time. yeah ..!

anyhow the show was fun, for the kids of course. well, i have no idea actually who the hell this elmer before. haha! heard bout elmo, but never for elmer.

malam tadi hafdzuan terbang ke seoul selama 5 hari. akan pulang pada sabtu petang, ahad pagi ke miri pula.

pagi tadi semasa dalam perjalanan ke tempat kerja, tiba-tiba sahaja kereta berhenti. sudah dapat dijangka minyak seperti tidak dapat masuk ke pam (hey i know a lot about car, never underestimate me) dan menyebabkan kereta tidak dapat bergerak.
kereta berhenti di kawasan contstruction. nasib baik hari ni ke tempat kerja pakai safety shoes yang levelnya boleh dikatakan "sepak anjing pasti terbelah 6". ok, cuak sebenarnya. nasib baik di tepi jalan besar. ramai plak org construction datang bertanya khabar. ayat standard "minyak ada ke tak ni ..?" haihhhh. agak-agak la, bila tengok driver perempuan jek, kereta breakdown mesti pasal tak de minyak. boring. menyampah.

cuba menghubungi pomen yang tinggal berdekatan kawasan rumah. tidak angkat telefon pula, mungkin masih tido. nasib baik ada orang kampung yang memberikan nombor telefon pomen yang berada di kawasan sekitar. kereta ditowing, dan sudah dijangka fuel pump problem (diorang kata ni standard problem utk waja, ni diorang yang kata ..).

sudah setel. tak pasal-pasal kene ambil cuti tidak berbayar setengah hari (kerana masih belum confirm). haih.

sabtu minggu lepas, 5/2/2011, i sangat sibuk dgn wedding adik hafdzuan.

on the wedding day - hadzim yg sibuk jugak. entah brape banyak sweets dia balun. berlari sana sini tengah panas. nasik pun banyak jugak dia balun. (photo credit to kak yunni)

isnin malam - melepek macam nak demam.

semalam, selasa pagi - konfem demam.

petang - makin panas. melepek jek. tak mo makan. tapi bila tunjuk calciyum nak pulak.

malam - still panas lagi. korek-korek dalam mulut dia, gigi taring sebelah kiri nak tumbuh (sebelum ni tiap kali tumbuh gigi tak pernah demam. ye hadzim jarang demam, ini kali ke 3 or 4 dia demam).

4am tadi, hadzim bangun dan bercakap-cakap. jelas sangat sebutan "nenek", "ibu", "yayah".

lepas tu membebel jekkkk sampai terlelap balik.

my mom kata dia demam sebab nak tumbuh gigi dan pandai cakap.

we'll see balik keje ni hadzim dah pandai cakap belum ;)

update by 11am today - hadzim dah tak demam lagi. tak sempat bawak pegi klinik pon..

breakfast

breakfast - the most important meal of the day. it keeps us in good tone for the rest of the day.
as far as i remember, i rarely (perhaps never?) skip my breakfast since in school days until now (masa sekolah dulu of course laa mom will prepare the breakfast). breakfast may keep me awake and feel good during the morning meeting especially (kalau tak perut asyik bunyi & confirm could not focus in the meeting!).

hafdzuan learnt to take his breakfast after we get married. and as far as i remember, i never let him off to work without taking any breakfast (except during my confinement, mom took over the job or he will make his own).

here some of our breakfast menu, (its actually hubs preferrable).

toast bread with egg & slice of cheese

cereal (normally cornflakes) with fresh milk, raisins & nuts (wallnut / cashew / almond). still not enough for hafdzuan, must be complete with eggs (mix with cheese, tomato, capsicum, onion)

burger special (burger wrap with egg) & mustard on top

potato with mince meat & egg

egg-dip-bread with cheese

mushroom soup with toast-garlic bread

nugget sandwiches (slice the nuggets into small pieces & mix with mayonise, onion & some salad - its my own recipe)

burger, egg, bread toast with cheese & pepper sprinkle

burger, egg & baked beans ( i love the cheese one)

more menus with no photos:

- half boiled eggs with soy sauce

- toast bread with butter & honey

- bread with peanut butter

- fried rice / fried noodle (which hafdzuan tak berapa prefer for his breakfast, dia suka yg western sajeeee)

anyway, whenever i feel bored from this menu, i rather get myself a nasi lemak / nasi kerabu / fried noodle on my way to work. but hafdzuan still prefer the home made breakfast (so nak tak nak harus buatkan breakfast dia walaupun diri sendiri tak makan kat rumah).

and here the favourite drink - a cup of milo or juice (apple / orange / guava)

hadzim mandi laut yg ntah ke berapa kali dah thn ni ..

berkayak mencari jamal & arief utk snap photo ni .. first time berkayak utk hadzim & we olz sekeluarga .. nasib hadzim tak terjun laut. hadzim dan life jacketnya, i loikeee.

#3 - going to join a fun race, a not-so-long distance, only 3kilo (hihi). i was born to be a sprinter, long distance is just too hard for me :| but not for hubs who prefer a long distance one.

#4 - errrrr. going to reveal if its really happen. but still its in my checklist :)

new year , new move

yes, im at the new office, new work place, and using a laptop (ok tempat dolu-dolu semua pakai desktop jek okkk).

nampaknya inilah keje yg diidam-idamkan.
a lot of mechanical thingy (sampai sakit kepala the first 3days because i had too much reading on my uni books, habis semua kitab lama kene bukak balik!).
a lot of machines & equipment (previous not so many).
office hours agak lama sikit, 8-6 (pervious 8.30-5.30).
a local company (previous was MNC company).
safety & 5S yg agak caca marba sikit haha (previous place was tip top).
apa lg eh? i guess semua tempat ada pro & cons nya. its just time to adjusting & adjusting to the new environment.

and the best thing is, i got my bff since school at this new place (mariam) .. weeehhoooo. haruslah bergosip lebih mudah di tempat kerja :)

KKS - Pangkor trip

tahun ni KKS (Kelab Kembara Serdang) organize trip ke Pangkor (last year ke PD).
thanks to zaidi, tok penghulu merangkap pengerusi kelab yg arrangekan semua.
most of all thanks to arif dan sponsor2nya .. thehehe.

mereka-mereka yg join trip ni:
zaidi-aimi-zaim, wan-farah-hadzim, arif-rap-leman, nizam-farah preggy,arief-jamal, pet, qadir.
petang tu wafi-ayai yg gerak berasingan (sbb wife ada interview SPA pagi tu) telah ditimpa kemalangan (tidak serius, tp kereta mereka serius sikit jek) di ijok dan berpatah balik ke serdang (tak de mood dah nak pegi trip).
esok nya sabtu min preggy-oat plak join (lambat join sbb ada keje).

bertolak pada hari jumaat 24dis10.

breakfast di kedai makan tasik di serdang. kumpul 7.30 tp bertolak 9.30 .. hehe .. diorang kata 7.30 janji qadir (bukan janji melayu dah ..) (*)

hadzim badan panas sikit sebab kene hujan masa dlm boat lepas balik dari snorkeling. leman (baby arif-rap) tido dalam boat ketika hujan (hujan menitik kat muka dia) antara yg paling lawak haha. leman mmg tough!
most of all, hadzim first time on kayak was the most unforgettable experience for us :)

everybody seems like against me, because of his new look.

2 sebab kenapa i botakkan hadzim:
1. memang dah lama nak botakkan hadzim (lagi sekali), sebab org kata, cukur lebih dari sekali dapat menghasilkan rambut lebih lebat & cantik. ni kes tak puas hati sebab rambut hadzim side belakang nampak jarang-jarang sikit. nasib baik anak haku jantan, bole cukur botak selalu. kalau pempuan? haaaaaaa.
2. ada kuping kat atas kepala hadzim yang dah agak lama, tak baik-baik. haaa kasik botak terus, senang nak kikis kuping tu.

harap-harap teori 1 tu betullah .. kalau tidak, kita cukur lg sekali!!

HK day 3 & 4

HK day 3.
went to the air port to pickup hafdzuan as he going to arrive at 10.30am.

in the bus, to the airport. HK public transport is way advanced, no reason to get lost in the island.

our first family potrait in HK (haha!). hafdzuan brought the carrier too. yeayy~~

terus ke tun shung (dekat dgn air port). operasi membeli dan membelah bermula.

bought a pair or crocs for hadzim sbb dia hilangkan kasut dia lg sebelah masa kat disneyland aritu :( anyway the crocs only cost about rm78 (yee sgt murah, latest design plak tu).

mlm tu ke lane crowford (eh betul ke? lupe plak) sebab hafdzuan masih mencari brg idaman hati dia - suit triathlon. jumpe jugak akhirnye lepas meround area situ. mmg berbaloi, sbb kat mesia mahal sikit .. barang i dah setel dah hihihi.

dinner dgn abah (yg dtg surprise for my bro's convo) at a sushi restaurant. he just came back from the convocation. tak pegi la haku sbb mencarik brg hafdzuan iteww. haha.

day 4 - pegi market (market diorang siap aircond, kelass gituu) & ke tun shung utk habiskan sisa baki duit sikit lg. hehe.

hadzim tido dlm flight balik, all the way, sbb dibagi ubat selsema (walopon tak selsema) supaya dia duduk diam dlm flight. hi gile sampai tak boleh bukak mata langsung. lega! (sbb masa flight pegi, dia tak duduk diam asyik jalan ke sana ke mari. so kene do something .. hehe).

HK day 2 (disneyland)

HK day 2 - we spent the whole day at HK Disneyland.
naik train ke disneyland yg sgt cute - tingkap train pon mickey mouse, hand holder dlm train pon mickey mouse. hehe.
mmg mengimbau zaman kanak-kanak betullah .. dgn smua character disney :)

tak sempat nak caption all the photos.
mostly dpt cover smua land & game. sbb org tak brape ramai. great.
sedih sikit sbb hafdzuan were not there ;(.

lepak sampai mlm sebab nak tunggu fireworks at the castle.
mmg best :)

at home, hafdzuan masih bertungkus lumus siang tu dekat ptptn.
rupanya hutang dia cuma 1 sem saje (around 4k lps campo segala fees & denda). surat tak sampai sebab hantar ke rumah lamanya di jb. huhu.
terus setelkan the remaining balance.
cite sedih sket kat pegawai ptptn (anak bini saya dah sampai sana .. tolonglah saya), pastu ptg tu dah clear from imigresen.
terus book flght ticket to HK on the next morning 6am.

alhamdulillah, hafdzuan selamat sampai on our 3rd day :)

HK day 1 (hari drama)

this is supposed to be our first family vacation (abroad). especially after hafdzuan completed his DPA, we really need a vacation for ourselves.
went to Hong Kong with my family members as well - mom, my youngest brother & my eldest brother's family (his wife & 3 kids). selain vacation, pergi HK sebab my brother ada convocation at HK U (he completed his master in dental surgeon).

so this is where the drama started:
masa kat imigresen air asia, hafdzuan was told he was in blacklisted sbb tak bayar ptptn! sgt terkejut beruk sbb all the while ok jek bole travel, tp imigresen officer ckp his name was just in the blacklist on last oct.
(secara ringkas - hafdzuan amik ptptn masa 1st sem saje, lps tu tukar amik scholar KPM, so mati2 ingat nama dah xde kat ptptn sbb surat pon xpernah sampai ke rumah to inform that he will no be allowed to go out from the country).
maka berdramalah kat situ siap nangis2 (hua hua hua), sedih sbb mampus i nak kene carry hadzim sbb dah laa xbawak carrier, stroller pon tertinggal kat rumah. ingatkan ada hafdzuan ok lah sikit bole carry gilir-gilir. nangissssss.

gile sedih. hafdzuan terpaksa balik rumah. dah la tak bole nak check dgn ptptn on that day sbb it was on sunday.
dah xde mood nak amik gamba smua dah.
took off from lcct at 1pm, arrived HK at 5pm.
terus check in our hotel located at kennedy town & pergi rumah consulat malaysia (kat mana ntah, xde mood dah nak amik tahu) because we were invited for dinner.
tak amik gamba. malas. mood masih tiada. huhu.

next day, monday - we spent the whole day at disneyland. will update in the next entry.
sementara tu, di malaysia, hafdzuan masih bertungkus lumus setelkan hal ptptn dia (sambil sakit hati sebab tak dapat pegi disneyland).
barulah tau, surat ptptn rupanya was sent to rumah lama hafdzuan in jb.
haih.

tetapi, adakah hafdzuan berjaya ke HK & join kitorang???

1 - my youngest brother has completed his chambering & done with his convocation thingy.
2 - my 2nd brother has started fly with air asia. and that means my mom only needs to pay 10% air ticket to wherever in the air-asia list.
3 - my eldest brother has completed his study in dental surgeon. the flying colors result came off on his 30th birthday. a double celebration for him.

my mom will never stop smiling for the next 10 years i guess.
i love them to bits.

when you owned your own home, it means -- a huge pocket damage will be happen sooner, or sometimes later (especially mcm i yg tak reti nak saba ni .. huahuahua).

we have spent a lot for our home stuff for this year - coffee table, dining table, tv cabinet, wall paper. it was all there in "2010 our home budget".
but the latest one, wardrobe for my master bed room, has never been in the list (yet). it supposed to be 2011 budget .. tp sbb dpt bonus terkejut hari teww maka haruslah spent pada wardrobe idaman kalbu ini (bilik sendiri haruslah enak di pandang mata!).

i thanked God for hearing my pray - to start my new work life by next year.
alhamdulillah.
kerja-idaman-kalbu yang dicari-cari akhirnye comes to an end.
yes i got an offer =) a better one of course.

i'm sooo glad cause i'm going right towards my personal objective for next year - i want to be out from my comfort zone (to be a better one i have to be out from my current place. i have no potential to grow in this company, so i have to leave asap). i need new environment. i need carrier advancement. i'm hunger of new knowledge. i challenged myself for new challenge. and definitely, i need myself a new pay (hehe, but who doesnt right? :P).

next job - i know its going to be tougher & dirtier!! gaji yg okkk (alhamdulillah walaupon tak sehebat gaji kawan-kawan yg keje O&G) & definitely new environment (yes, its not going to be a similar one, but the job scope is still the same). anyway, i'm going to remain my post as a junior engineer (never mind!) but the pay is meant for senior engineer (kahkahkah. money matters most compared to position when living in this expensive world).

good luck to myself. will start to serve at new place on january 2011.
weehoooo for myself :)

p/s even though hubs & i were in the same background (engineering), but we have a different point of view in our dream job. hubs prefer to wear slacks & tie to work & working with people (that's why he joined PTD!) but i prefer working with machine and wearing jeans to work. haha. but at home, we still speak the same language =)

being an outdoor-loved-parents, mmg hubs & i tak sabar nak bawak hadzim join aktiviti-aktiviti outdoor kami.
last feb, hubs & i climbed the gunug datuk, rembau. masa tu hadzim baru 8 bulan, so tak berani bawak lg. nasib baik xbawak, track agak mencabar (sbb tunjuk hero naik pakai crocs jek mmg laa mencabar ngokk hehe). masa tu dah decide, harap2 lepas ni ada peluang naik gunung lagi mesti bawak hadzim.

lepas tu nama bukit broga, which located at semenyih, tiba-tiba jadi hot (ke aku jek yg baru tau?). nakkkk sangat pegi, tp hubs masa tu masih jadi weekend husband, which sgt susah nak cari masa yang sesuai, so we decided to wait until we really had a free time to slot in the activity.

sebab weekend aritu tak de apa nak buat (selain swimming. kahkahkah. kami sekeluarga mmg gile swimming), so we decided nak try naik bukit broga & carry our little toddler hadzim. many thanks to my SIL, kak yunni who borrowed us safwa's carrier (because i had 3 carrier at home, tp smua mcm xselesa pakai kat belakang, this one comfort hubs enough sbb dia yg kene carry hadzim hehe).

angan-angan nak tengok sun rise tak dapekk sebab hubs bangun lewat. huhu. pukul 7.15 baru sampai ke broga. parking dah penuh gile. masa keluar rumah dah hujan renyai-renyai, tp teruskan perjalanan jugak (degil). nasib baik sampai broga hujan dah berhenti. orang ramai nak mamp, terasa sedikit bengang plak apsal semua org nak naik broga sama waktu dgn aku ni .. mcm xde time lain diorang ni.. ngeeeeeeee.

kete parking sepanjang jalan. orang ramai gile. menyampahhh.

hadzim yg mcm cuak. tp rilek jek & busy tengok sekeliling.

ramai betul yg say "hi" to the little climber. tak kurang yg sambil lalu sambil picit pipi hadzim. hihi.

ibu nak bg ucapan setinggi-tinggi terima kasih pada hadzim sbb tak buat onar aritu. walaupon ibu dah standby wet tissue kaw-kawnye stok dlm beg.

aik? dah turun? mana gamba peak??

we all dah lepas buaian muzaffar tu, sikit lagi nak sampai peak, tetiba hujan turun makin lebat (maka camera terus masuk bag). masa tu dok discuss nak continue naik ke nak patah balik. sbnrnye bole jek nak continue naik, tp sbb tengok track turun mcm dah licin sebab hujan, takut hafdzuan susah pulak nak turun nnt sambil carry hadzim, so we decided untuk berpatah balik. mmg frust gile sbb tak sampai puncak. but we made the right decision sbb on the way turun tu hujan turun agak lebat.

lariiiii. hujan dah turun.

ibu sedikit pancit sebab dah lama x workout tetiba naik bukit. padan muke huhu (petang tu erus start jogging balik!)

hadzim yang turun dengan lajunye. ewahhhh.

dah dah. nanti kita pegi lagi.

maka, itulah kesudahan cerita naik bukit broga yang tak sampai puncak tu. first time naik gunung tak sampai puncak ni. haha. kalau tak de hadzim aritu mesti dah redah je walaupon hujan.

hadzim has turn 15 months old today.
syukur alhamdulillah.
besides being grateful of what he is right now, ada masanya i pon pening kepala dgn anak yang sorang ni (ni baru sorang, kalau seploh camne??!!).

eventhough hadzim has not been able to pronounce not a single word yet (mungkin betul teori orang tua-tua, kalau berjalan dulu dia akan bercakap lambat .. sebab hadzim had his first step before he reach 9 months!), tapi aktif dia dah cukup memeningkan kepala (mungkin kalau dah petah bercakap, diselangi dengan perbuatan yang aktif akan lebih memeningkan kepala .. kot??).

antara aktiviti-aktiviti di rumah yang memeningkan kepala sekarang..

suka berdiri atas coffee table kaca di rumah. aduhhh. kalau tak pon dia main sorok-sorok kat bawah coffee table tu. siap ajak cousin dia join sekali dok bawah meja. bunga kat atas coffee table hanya akan diletak bila ada orang datang rumah sahaja.

tak pon dia panjat & berjoget kat atas tv cabinet. sambil mencari punat tv nak tolong switch off tv.

kalau dah boring sangat, dia panjat tangga ikut out-side the steps which is sangat merbahayakan jantung orang tua.

atau pon nak tolong bukakkan pintu bila i balik keje, atau pon bila ada orang datang rumah.

ataupon panjat gril dapur sampai atas untuk lihat jiran belakang rumah tengah buat apa (nasib baik jiran belakang rumah tak de anak dara).

semalam, i bawak dia ke klinik kesihatan untuk check-up 15 months.
dan hadzim adalah sangat-sangat-sangat tidak terkawal.

for the first 5 minutes, bolehlah dia duduk diam dekat i.
later on, dia dah start merayap berjalan ke sana ke mari & say "hi" to everybody in the clinic.

hadzim: "hello awek. duhhh sombong laa pulak. tak pe lah, usya awek lain .. ramai lagi awek nih.."

bila dah boring, pergi plak ke display cabinet klinik tu. nasib baik pintu kaca cabinet tak boleh nak terbukak luas, tapi dia masukkan tangan pulak nak korek apa yang di dalam nak bawak keluar..

hadzim: "ok ni senduk nama dia, jap ehh nak kuarkan bubur palsu untuk bayi ni ..."

lepas tu ibu dah malu sebab hadzim dah start main masak-masak sampai semua orang tengok, i dukung & bawa dia keluar plak.

ok dia pegi panjat gril pintu klinik plak siap sampai atas, sampai ada mak-mak lain yang buat muka terkejut, sambil senyum-senyum, sambil geleng kepala tengok anak i.

aduh, malunya mukeeee.

ada member yang punyai anak perempuan (dan abang i yang 2 2 anaknya perempuan), tak de plak mcm ni ... mungkinkah anak perempuan lebih behave at this age?

malam raya - di rumah mertua di Pedas, N9.
rumah ni baru je siap, kalau sblm ni malam raya di serdang.
biasanya pada malam raya, akan ada solat isya' berjemaah sekeluarga & tazkirah aidilfitri oleh pak mertua. first time i dgr tazkirah aidilfitri dgn hubs family ni masa 1st year raya as husband & wife. agak terharu jugak sbb tak pernah ada sblm ni dgn family sendiri :)

topic biasanya berkisar mengenai peringatan ayah kepada anak² & menantu²nya tentang tanggungjawab & kasih sayang.
tapi tahun ni tazkirah pendek sikit sbb hadzim & cousinnya, safwa asyik bersuka ria lompat & panjat atas kerusi meja sana-sini & mengganggu emosi pemberi tazkirah, hehe.

Ramadhan & Raya ramblings

Ramadhan ramblings:

1. sangat menyampah & sedih tengok ramai betul operator yg tak berpuasa. ada jek yg kantoi hisap rokok & makan dlm locker room. paling menyampah operator² yg dah level nak pencen tu. bila tanya "bistu kat rumah ni puasa ke x?", dia jawab "kat rumah puasa mcm biasa laa .. segan laa dgn anak bini kat rumah ..". pfffttttt.

2. first week puasa lagi hubs dah g bayar zakat fitrah. yeah.

3. berbuka dgn kadar biasa sahaja. maklumlah most of the time berbuka berdua dgn mak. kadar berbuka dgn hafdzuan 3kali seminggu. boleh la.

4. berat terkini di bulan puasa - 57kg. senyum dan senyum dan senyum. kan dah kata sebelum ni, utk capai berat ideal (58kg) its easy peasy ;)

Raya ramblings:

1. baju raya - disebabkan hadzim dah ada 2 jubah kaler grey, jadi i pon decide utk buat tema grey tahun ni. baju hafdzuan beli yg dah siap je, tp baju sendiri haruslah hantar tailor. dan tahun ni ada drama dgn makcik tailor. *dush* first time hantar - lengan & part dada sgt besar, 2nd time hantar alter, sgt sempit kat part dada, haih sampai 3x hantar alter baru ok. tu pon hasil tak brape memuaskan. haih makcik, kalau tak pandai jahit baju kurung moden + lining bgtau jek la. senang cerita. baju raya i bukan baju eksperimen. tak pe la. harap² tak de orang perasan kecacatan minor tersebut.

2. tudung raya - sebagai peminat tudung bawal, i sangat kecewa sebab susah giler nak carik tudung bawal sekarang ni. huwaaaaaa. kalau ada pon yg 2nd class & sulamnya tak lawa langsung! jadi terpaksa la i akur dengan trend terkini sekarang yg pakai tudung sarung lycra tu. tapi nak beli ariani? tsk. tsk. masih belum mampu untuk spend more than rm50 utk tudung sehelai. lebih baik beli baju terus ;)

3. duit raya - on good side, bajet duit raya mmg kurang sikit thn ni sebab tak balik singapore. *hehehehehe* but on the bad side, kuranglah duit raya hadzim tahun ni sbb tak dapat Sing$$$. :(

4. kuih raya - usahasama membuat kuih raya dgn my mom. buat 3 jenis sahaja thn ni. tart nenas (nenas tu ngelat beli jam dah siap & alter sikit :P, raya wajib ada tart nenas!), chocolate chips (resipi from nigella bites yg telah di google) & badam suji (resipi mama). hadzim pon asyik nak tolong buat sekali. hurggghhhh mmg tensyen! lagi 4 jenis my aunty from singapore dah siap² bg. hehe. ok lah tu dah ada 7 jenis.

5. tahun ni tak dapat puasa penuh macam tahun lepas...! taksuke taksuke taksuke.

6. cuti & balik raya - dapat seminggu cuti raya tahun ni. tapi hubs plak raya ke-4 dah naik kursus. tahun ni beraya di rumah baru in-laws di Pedas & Kuala Pilah. raya ke-2 bertolak ke kampung nenek i di kuantan. hoyeahhh.

Dulu, masa single, apakah jenis pekerjaan yang dicari?
1 - gaji yg ok. masa fresh dulu tak boleh demand sgt gaji, so redha jek la. tapi cara nak dapat gaji lebih ialah dgn oti sampai lebam.
2 - balik lambat pon xde hal. tak de apa nak pikir. kalau balik malam boleh lepak mamak dgn kawan-kawan. or pergi tengok wayang. or karaoke.
3 - colleague + boss yg ok.
4 - kerja yg mencabar. rasa semangat sikit. biasalah, perasaan baru grad. semua nak nampak hebat.

lepas kahwin & jadi ibu, apakah jenis pekerjaa yang dicari?
1 - dekat dgn rumah. sbb boleh kuar pegi keje lewat, balik awal, masa lunch hour bole balik rumah ---> suap anak makan, main kejar-kejar dgn anak, atau pon bf anak, atau pon sidai baju yg xsempat sidai pagi td, ataupon keluarkan ayam dari freezer.
2 - tepat pukul 5.30 dah shutdown pc. ok, kalau kadang-kadang tu kene stay apa salahnya. tapi "kadang-kadang", bulan "selalu".
3 - tiada kerja yang perlu dibawa pulang ke rumah. come on, kat rumah pon dah byk kerja nak buat. takkanlah masa kat rumah pon nak buat kerja office? no way.
4 - gaji yg tinggi sikit. yelah nak improve ekonomi keluarga, maklumlah partner keje gomen, berjanggut jugak nak tunggu dia naik gaji .. so i need to make my move laa.
5 - kerja yg mencabar? perlu rasanya. sebab sekarang ni rasanya dah duduk dlm confort zone sangat. boring!

as for now, i do achieve no 1-3 at my current work place. so i try carik kerja tempat lain sbb - reason no 4 & 5, tp still i nak maintain ciri-ciri 1-3 kat new place. heh. boleh dapat ke?

owh please, jangan suggest kerja gomen. cukuplah hubby seorang saja kerja gomen. i tak minat. dan tak rela nak drop gaji lagi seorang. cukuplah hubby dulu drop gaji, dah rasa dah penangannya. tak sanggup!

jadi kisahnya, 2 minggu lepas i pon attendlah interview, somewhere around my place (kan dah kata nak carik keje yg dekat dgn rumah!).
dah lama tak pegi interview, dah 3 tahun tak pergi. mcm-mcm kene refresh & prepare.

soalan-soalan semua macam biasa jek. cuma ada tambah sikit, especially part personal.
antaranya:

1. husband kerja mana? Owh ok .. kerja gomen .. so ada possibility tak untuk husband kene transfer tempat lain?

2. ni rumah duduk sekarang ni rumah sewa ke beli? Owhh rumah beli .. maknanya duduk sinilah sampai mati? tak kan pindah lagi la eh?

3. dah ada anak? habis tu anak sape jaga? Owh mak jaga, bukan hantar nursery .. jadi senanglah nak travel oversea selalu & balik lewat malam?
bila cakap part travel tu seronok jek dengar, bila part balik lewat malam tu dah mcm berdebar sikit.

4. anak dah berapa tahun? ada perancangan tak untuk tambah anak? bile mahu tambah anak?
Kalau pon aku plan nak tambah anak minggu depan pon, takkanlah aku nak bgtau kau? mestilah aku kencing .. kalau tersangkut lepas dapat keje baru ni aku jawab jek lah, “accident”, senang cite. hadoi. Jangan harap la aku nak bgtau seikhlasnya bila aku plan nak tambah anak. It’s none of your business. bluekkk.

Kemudian, pasti ada soalan yang menaikkan adrenalin & menghilangkan terus adrenalin dalam diri, seperti:

interviewer: “kat sini normally kita akan travel banyak, pergi jumpa vendor .. dan biasanya kene pergi business trip to Holland, US & Japan sampai seminggu dua. So are you willing to travel?” dengan tengah control sebab bijik mata terjegil sekejap (teruja sebab dengar dapat travel sana sini!), I pon dengan rileksnya jawab of course la laa willing to travel .. tak de hal punya maaa. Anak I mak I jaga, bukan hantar nursery so itu bukan masalah besar untuk I .. (control emosi lagi).

I knew I am too close to get the job, until the next question that makes my jaw drop on the table...

soalan yang terus menghilangkan adrenalin:
Interviewer: “normally we went back at 7 or 8 pm. But if you need to complete something urgent, u need to stay until you finish your work. Some of our engineers has not been home for 2 days.”
ok, dengar macam tu mmg i dah tak dapat control air muka dah. what? normal working hour balik at 7-8pm, abnormal is - not been home for 2 days?
agaknya tengok air muka i jek diorang dah tahu jawapan apa yang i nak bagi... i was just failed miserably on hiding my emotions ..

so kerana 1 soalan puaka itu, terus confirm i tak dapat job tu.
maka nampaklah kelemahan wanita-berkerjaya-berkahwin-dan juga seorang ibu.

bila tanya pendapat hubby, pendek sahaja jawapan dia “u tengok muka hadzim la, dia ada jawapan utk u. tqvm”.

haih. salah i ke pilih course engineering masa belajar dulu?
macam mana nak carik keje yg dapat semua ciri-ciri 1-5 yg dicari?
haih.
kalau ada anak perempuan lepas ni mmg i tak nak bagi dia amik engineering course lagi!!!

for these 2 weeks, hadzim has showed us his new capability.
he will nodded his head whenever he wanted to say "yes" or shaked his head from side to side to say "no" for some of our questions.

as for example,when my mum or i asked him:
"hadzim do you want to eat?";
"hadzim berak eyh?";
"hadzim do you want milk?";
"hadzim nak t*t*k?";
"hadzim nak sleep?"

he will nodded his head, if he wants to.
if he doesn't, he will shaked his head from side to side.

i am not sure whether he completely understand the questions or he just simply nodded.
but most of the time he has correct answer for those questions, as for example when i asked him "hadzim do you want some more (rice)?" he shaked his head side to side. and to re-confirm, i tested him by giving him another spoon of rice and he decline. see? that means he already reply me "i dont want anymore laa ibu".

yesterday, when i was busy at the kitchen preparing for iftar, hadzim was in the kitchen too and wanted to play with cooking oil bottle, batu tumbuk, kitchen stuff bla bla bla. and that makes me angry.

i yelled at him and said,
"hadzim pernah tengok ibu jadik tarzan tak?"
he shaked his head, side to side (means- no, never looked ibu with tarzan looks).

and i asked him again,
"nak tengok ibu jadik tarzan kee?!!"
.. and he nodded his head. with smile on his face.
ouchhhhh (melting my heart).

tak jadik nak marah dah!! :)

welcoming ramadhan

this year, marked my 3rd ramadhan as a wife.

2008; my 1st ramadhan as a wife
- masa tu baru 3 bulan kahwin. semangat memasak memang berkobar-kobar. 95% adalah home made cooking. balik keje terus bersilat kat dapur. seingat i, sekali je pegi bazar ramadhan. i tak berapa berkenan makanan kat bazar ramadhan. sebab mostly hasilnya adalah mengecewakan. so daripada berbuka dengan rasa kecewa, maka adalah lebih baik home made cooking.
- dan adalah seronok sebab pertama kali dapat pergi tarawikh bersama-sama dgn husband :)

2009; my 2nd ramadhan as a wife + 1st ramadhan as a mom
- i remembered my last year ramadhan, 1st day puasa berbuka kat airport sebab kene hantar hafdzuan. hafdzuan off to korea for 2 weeks for training.
- last year jugak, i tgh bf hadzim (he was 3 months old by then). everyday during lunch hour, i balik rumah just to direct breastfeeding on him. by 5.00pm, normally i dah lepak gile level nak pengsan dah (bf semasa puasa mmg letih gilee).
- anyhow, i'm lucky cause my mom was staying with me. so of course la mak lg banyak memasak dari diri sendiri hihihi. sungguh seronok balik je rumah, lauk berbuka yang power mower semua dah siap terhidang. 2 thumbs up for my mom!
- time sahur plak, normally hadzim tidur je. ada la few times dia terbangun so terpaksalah angkut dia ke bawah bersahur sekali. tangan kiri pangku hadzim sambil menetek, tangan kanan suap makan ke mulut sendiri :)
- first time puasa penuh setelah sekian lama .. woohoooo!!!
- tak pergi tarawikh langsung, buat kat rumah jek (tu pon bukan buat hari-hari). huhu.

2010; my 3rd ramadhan as a wife
- hafdzuan still away from home for his course. but he will come back on weekends. boleh la 3x berbuka bersama per week. maka kurang sikit aktiviti paksa-kejut-bangun-sahur :P
- nampaknya tidak berkesempatan lagi untuk bertarawikh di surau lagi pada tahun ini. haih :( (sesape ada tips nak bawak toddler ke surau utk tarawikh pls give me some yeahh).

night weaning & sleep training for hadzim

why i need to do sleep training & night weaning for hadzim?
- night weaning --> seriously, i need to take a break for myself. hadzim mengempeng for the whole night (since he was 9 months old i think) & i can't move my body at all. every time i un-latched him, dia akan tersedar & merengek. aduh. tak boleh tahan laa .. sangat susah especially tetiba rasa nak ke toilet di tengah-tengah malam, ataupon nak bangun seawal 5pagi di hari isnin bile nak hantar hafdzuan balik ke Intan. badan pon terasa sakit kadang-kadang sebab terpaksa mengiring sepanjang malam.
- sleep training --> walaupon tidak ada tercatat di mana-mana, i do think 1 year old baby must have straight 9 hours sleep. 1 year old - right time to sleep training for a toddler.

why now?
- sebenarnya target nak buat lepas hafdzuan back from his course (end of Sept, lepas raya). at least sekarang ni masih ada teman tidur lagi. tak la tidur sorang-sorang di katil king size tu. but i changed my mind, kene buat sekarang. next week dah start puasa. kalau time puasa pon macam ni, habis laa sahur i. mana nak layan hadzim lagi, mana nak sahur lagi. at the end of time, i yang tak cukup tidur & letih nanti.
- gedik tak sabar nak suruh hadzim tido kat katil baru dia itewww. hihihihi.

how do i start night weaning for hadzim?
- keep distance from me -->percubaan menidurkan hadzim dekat tilam next to my bed is totally failed. sebab dia tau, tu bau bilik dia yg dia biasa tidur. kalau dah transfer ke tilam bawah pon, malam-malam dia terjaga, tepuk-tepuk dia mmg tak akan jalan (walaupon hafdzuan yg tepuk, bukan i). tetap mahu ngempeng. at last bawak naik atas katil jugak. so as a first step, hadzim must sleep out from my bedroom.
- place him at new area --> bile hadzim dah tidur, i transferkan dia to his own bed at his own room. to make him to get use with the new environment. my mom willing to sleep to the next bed (in the same room) untuk memantau dia for these few days. lepas ni maybe dah boleh tidur sendiri dah.
- change his meal time & his milk--> dulu hadzim bf sblm tido. body milk mmg cepat digest, so baby akan cepat lapar (that's explained why fm baby could sleep straight for 9 hours). so i tukar meal time dia. i tak bf dia sblm makan (to make him hungry), jadi dia akan makan banyak around 7-8pm. at 9.30pm hadzim will have his fm. dia akan tido lama sikit sebab kekenyangan.

results:
as for now, it has been a week hadzim on his sleeps training.
the first 3 days; dekat sploh kali dia terbangun tgh malam mencari candu, but my mom cuma cakap "syuhh, syuhhh, tidur" dan hadzim akan tido balik. kadang2 tu kalau tak jalan kene la my mom bangun & tepuk-tepuk dia.
day 4-6; hadzim bangun around 3,4 times. my mom tak payah tepuk dia lagi cuma cakap dari jauh "syuhhh, syuhh, tidur tidur".
last night; hadzim bangun sekali sahaja & cara yang sama my mom guna.
and it works well on him.

tapi pagi tu mesti terus bf dia, he looks very hungry. sampai kosong terus tangki susu :P.
hope by puasa nanti hadzim will have straight 9 hours sleep, until the next morning.

hadzim yang tido ganas, terpaksa letak comforter kat bawah katil sebab dia bole bergolek sampai ke bawah katil. then landing baek punye atas comforter tapi tak terjaga, elok je sambung tido. hehe. so cute.

effect to myself?
i have to admit, i miss having him under my armpit!!! huwaaaa.
tiada lagi bau baby yang masham yang enak dan lazat iteww di pagi hari.
tiada lagi tukang landing atas dada i malam2 sambil menyelak baju i.
tiada lagi tukang sepak kepala i masa i tengah tidur.
i miss them. a lot :(

pagi-pagi i bangun terus ke bilik hadzim. terasa sayu tengok dia tido sorang-sorang. terasa nak angkut dia tido balik dalam bilik i.
tapi kalau dari sekarang tak mula buat, bile lagi? takkan dah anak 2 semua nak berhimpit tido sekatil dengan parents? no way. they must start being independent from now on.

anyway, im glad sebab i dah start buat sleep training for hadzim. but to take him away from bf, yes i am not ready yet!! dan tak tahu bila akan ready. mesti lagi emosi gile bile dah tak bf lg. *sob*sob*sob*

and now? i need to sleep training for myself pulak. for the whole 1 year, not even once i have myself a straight 8 hours sleep, asyik terbangun sebab nak menyusu anak. sekarang ni masalah i, macam mana i nak tidur straight tanpa terbangun pulak? ngeeee.

body weight - a woman's nightmare

baru lepas spm.

2004 - 55kg
year 4 in uni. naik sikit. blame it to the hormone (woman's metabolisme started to reduce at the age of 20).

2005 - 60kg
final year. masa tu baru kenal hafdzuan. konon-konon bahagia sangat la tu sampai berat naik pungggggg sampai 60kg within a year. masa tu jumpe kawan-kawan lama semua tanya "eh nampak berisi sikit". jawapan standard "a' ahh, tengah bahagia (jawapan poyo nak cover)".

2008 (before married to hafdzuan) - 60kg
berat dah stagnant sampai la sebelum & selepas kahwin.

2009 (final weight before gave birth) - 75kg
tu termasuk overdue-weight sekali tu. kalau bersalin on time takat 73kg jek (you'll gain so much weight at the end of pregnancy).

2009 (after giving birth to hadzim) - 64kg
i dont give a damn since there's nothing much i can do - i still breastfed, so i can't eat less (makan lagi banyak ada laaa). as long i can fit into all my pants & blouses, then its good enough for me (risau takut kene beli baju baru sbnrnya hehe). hence the only way is to start my jogging & swimming routine back.

2010 (exactly after 1 year of giving birth) - 59kg
wooohooo. dah lama giler tak merasa weight dengan angka 5 (its after 5 years!!). thank you for breastfeeding + jogging + swimming + no family planning pills (family planning pills might increase your weight, and it scares me a lot).

with the height of 167cm, my ideal weight is 58kg.
another 1 kg to shed off.
its easy peasy, heh (blagak kau ye).

but sometimes, the weight does not help you to have your-anak-dara looks back, it's all about your figure (32-26-32?; which is totally impossible to get, especially for woman who has become a mother). spare tyre is still everywhere!
blurghhhhhhh.

and now i can call myself "a wife of a triathlete"

a few years back, hafdzuan told me what he really wants to do in his life - to be a triathlete.
and i didnt take it serious at all. all i think is - ok, u were talking crap, whateverlah! (ngeh ngeh ngeh. its not i dont want to believe it, but i do think its just too possible for him).

and now, after 2 years of serious preparation & training, his dream finally come true. he completed his first triathlon - olympic distance.

his first triathlon -PD International Triathlon. Sun, 250710.

we depart from our place at 5.20am & arrived the place at 6.15am.

bike check in at 6.30 am. (after snap this photo, i accidentally drop my DSLR and my flash was toatally spoiled. tskk. tskk. i almost cried. luckily the event starts at 7.30am, so i dont need the flash!).

first discipline - swim 1.5km.

2nd discipline - bike 40km.

while waiting for hafdzuan to complete his bike course (which took about 45min), my mum & i brought hadzim & his cousin to the sea side.

3rd discipline - run 10km.

i was acting like a paparazzi for the whole event - menunggu ketibaan hafdzuan, snap sini, pastu lari lagi kejar dia, snap sana plak, kejar lagi snap lagi. but its all worth it.

even though the timing is not so good for him (i know he can do better, blame on the course!), im glad he made it to the finishing line (berebut-rebut i kat depan nak amik gamba laki sendiri. hello, tepi laa korang yang laki tak sampai finish line lg ni, dok belakang2 sikit ye, nyampahh).

yes dear, now you can call yourself a triathlete.

this is how i spent my weekend

1. swim

we spent most of our weekend at the public swimming pool.

hafdzuan prefer to go to the pool rather than shopping complex (saving the pocket hehe).
besides need to perform his training, he prefer a physical exercise for hadzim - such as swimming, or playing at the park, compared to buying toys (hafdzuan didnt allowed me to buy much toys for hadzim).

anyway, we had spent our weekend at swimming pool looong time before we get married--after married--i was pregnant (until 8 months of pregnant)--have kid.

dah byk pelaburan i sekeluarga kat bukit jalil pool & putrajaya pool ni agaknye. hehe.

my turn to look for hadzim when hafdzuan doing his laps. he will take over when im doing my lap pulak. (read: i did not do my laps as much as before anymore. time & breathing constraint!! huwaaa)

2. accompany hubs in his races

for the whole last year, normally i will accompany hafdzuan on his race which happened on weekends. hadzim pon angkut sekali, eventhough it was as early as 5am (hafdzuan insist to bring hadzim, lebih feeling katanya). tahun ni xbrape byk run masuk because of his DPA course.

hafdzuan on his first run - feb 09. i was 4 months pregnant right then, thats why i could not join. sigh.

his addiction tu run & swim has brought him to join the triathlon.
he bought his bike later on and training schedule has going insane.
he join his first triathlon on last year august. i was in confinement mode but still there to give him some support.

hafdzuan and his first body marking at Desaru Triathlon. he took part in sprint category.

for this coming weekend, i will be at PD, cheering for Hafdzuan who took part in his first triathlon - olympic distance! as a coach (ehem), i am damnnn nervous, cause i knew he did not practice as much as he supposed to (he's on the course right now). i did not care so much on the timing, reaching finishing line without any injury is good enough for me.

at the end of the day, i know im upgrading myself as a wife of a triathlete (later will be an iron man yo!) and hadzim will run for him at the finishing line, as what he always been dreaming for :)
ehem. me? i want to complete my 10k first before i get my own bike.

a car-bed

been eyeing for this bed sejak-sejak sibuk ke kedai perabot membeli perabot rumah. and this one, my mom bought for hadzim as his 1st birthday gift (tapi i top-up sikit sebab mengada mahu yang cantik maka harganya lebih mahal laa). tqvm mom! lepas ni dah bole sleep training for hadzim - on a separate bed, separate room.

a neck float

ini memang target to grab when hadzim reach 1. since 3 months - pakai floaties. 1 year - pakai neck float. maybe when he reach 2 - will use arm float. hadzim tak berapa enjoy pakai neck float ni, yela first timer, & maybe sbb tak dapat tengok air. i'll make sure he will get use with it.

- gantung hadzim kat tepi swimming pool (masa kat phuket aritu) & let hadzim trying his all effort to climb out from the pool. siap jatuh terselam dlm pool.
- place a key at the gril to provoke hadzim to climb and get the keys.
- lambung-lambung hadzim tu toksah cerita laa.
- dan pelbagai lagi permainan ganas.

i guess he is too excited for having a nephew.
and rite now he has another one to bully-on, my new nephew who was born last sunday (on my wedding anniversary day - good day to be remembered).

rizqi zaidani who was born 4 hours before the world cup finale (tak tido bapaknye sepanjang malam, lepas tengok bini bertarung dlm labor room, sambung tengok spain bertarung plak).
the first boy of my brother. cousin of hadzim. the fourth grandson of my family. and definitely, the next victim of Faeez.

dulu, sebelum berkasih dgn hafdzuan (pehhh), i mmg tak minat lelaki yg pandai main music instrument. tak tahulah kenapa. i rasa lelaki-lelaki yg pandai main alat music ni, yg selalu g jamming ni, or selalu pegi gig ni adalah lelaki tak baik (pehhh ye i mmg kolot haha).

sekaliiiiii. haaa amik kau. terus dapat suami yang boleh main drum, main guitar, siap ada band bagai & selalu pegi gig (dulu la).

sekarang tengok apa jadik pada anak sendiri??!!

hadzim sangat suka dgn guitar. macam-macam gaya dia petik gitar.

kalau masuk bilik mesti terus tuju kat gitar dulu.
kalau dia tengah mengada-ngada, hulur gitar terus senyap.
sekarang plak dah pandai petik kuat-kuat, sampai nak tercabut tali gitar tu (habislah ayah marah nanti).
kadang-kadang dia marah sebab gitar tak keluar bunyik. hai anak, mcm mana nak keluar bunyik kalau sambil petik gitar sambil duduk atas gitar? :)

p/s hafdzuan mmg suke nyanyi sambil petik gitar kat hadzim dari dia kecik lg. selalu main lagu twinkle-twinkle little star, or ibsy bitsy spider, or apa2 lagu laa asalkan dgn gitar. & it really works especially time pakaikan hadzim pampers. dia akan duduk diam & mengadap ayah dia yg tgh perform :)

Happy 1st birthday to my boy, Hadzim Faeiq.

im not going to write my wish here, because its just a normal wish like other mom did - to be good of everything. he already heard my wish last night, when i whispered to his ears when i put him to sleep.

Hadzim Faeiq's 1 year milestones:

newborn:

baby safely born on 30/06/09, 1.01pm.

baby dinamakan Hadzim Faeiq bin Mohd Hafdzuan.
since 18 weeks, lepas je tau gender, terus decide nama. cuma ada 1 pilihan nama sahaja & xpernah discuss pasal nama lagi lepas decide.
Hadzim, it means firm, judicious & prudent.
Faeiq, it means surpassing excellent.

Hadzim ialah nama pilihan i & hafdzuan. to keep the initial 'H' at the beginning & 'DZ' at the middle of the name. nama Hadzim dipilih sebab terbalik nama ayah hafdzuan iaitu Adzmi.

Faeiq ialah nama pilihan i. i also want to keep the initial 'F'. i felt in love with this name sebelum i bersalin lagi, sebab ternampak nama anak kawan abang i iaitu Faiq. ejaan nama Faiq ditukar menjadi f-a-e-i-q sebab mahu cukupkan 5 huruf. nama tidak mahu dieja Faeeq sebab sama dgn adik i, Faeez.

hadzim at 1 month:

menyusu from the first day he was born.
tali pusat tanggal pada hari ke-4.

dah boleh ambil objek kecik dengan menggunakan jari.
dah ada 2 gigi & makan nasik.

hadzim at 10 months:

gigi dah ada 3 batang (1 lg tumbuh kat atas).
jalan dah lesen P dah. terhuyung hayang.
dah boleh bukak tutup tangan bile dengar lagu ipsy bipsy spider or twinkle-twinkle little star.

hadzim at 11 months:

berjalan makin laju. dah dapat full license. memanjang berjalan. tak merangkak langsung.
dah boleh turun tangga.
bile nak turun ke tempat un-level, tukar jap merangkak (macam laa tinggi sangat!!) lepas tu bangun balik & berjalan. so funny.
dah berbual bahasa jerman.
dah boleh bagi respon (dalam bahasa perancis plak) bile dengar orang panggil nama dia.
first time demam.
gigi dah 4 batang.
bile cakap "sape nama hadzim angkat tangan" terus dia angkat tangan.

hadzim at 12 months:

dah boleh clap-clap his hand.
sangat suke petik gitar (dah boleh buat band dgn ayah dia, ayah main drum).
pertama kali kene tonsil sampai demam (kali ke-3 demam).
selera makan dah back to normal. makan byk mcm biasa. tapi berat tak berapa naik.
suke memanjat.
sangat pemalu depan strangers. boleh duduk diam-diam kat ibu, suara pon tak keluar, tapi kalau kat rumah dialah hero.

so, what's next? for the 2nd year?
i can't wait the minute he call me "ibu", understands me whenever i say "hadzim please behave yourself" or expressing anything he loves like "i want to go for swimming".

and when i asked hafdzuan what did he expect for hadzim's second year - his asnwered "i hope he can swim by the age of 2 so i can train him to be triathlete & join the triathlon by the age of 5".

my 1 year (almost) breastfeeding experience

tiada gamba sedang menyusu hadzim plak .. huhu.

hadzim next week dah setahun.
dan i mahu merenung kembali, perjalanan breastfeed i sebelum bersalin & selama setahun ni.

i pasang niat untuk breastfeed agak lambat, masa tu dah 7 bulan.
ntah la kenapa, tak berapa confident takut tak boleh breastfeed.
pasang niat tu pun sbb masa checkup 7 bulan, nurse dah mula picit t*ts & bgtau ada susu ni .. masa tu macam tak percaya jek, biar betul dah ada susu. barulah terasa confident sikit. member pon ada ajar cara-cara bersihkan n*pple & urut ketika mandi supaya susu mula stimulate.

dah masuk 9 bulan, masih tak cukup confident lagi. beli pam pon cap ayam jek, murah punye. ye laa takut dah beli mahal-mahal kang tak dapat bf plak. lagi la menyesal. tengok orang lain yag dah beli pump power-power sekali tak dapat nak bf, rugi plak rasanya...

masa tu 2 bestfriend i (mariam & sarah) masing-masing tgh menyusu & diorang laa yg bagi support gile-gile untuk bf. i rasa terharu dapat kawan baik macam ni. segala info semua diorang share dgn i. husband pon support jugak. mama pulak biasa-biasa jek, maybe sebab tak berapa tahu pasal bf.

hari pertama hadzim lahir, terus bf dia.
hadzim terus pandai hisap. sebabnye, maybe sebab mama suapkan madu dalam mulut dia (tahnik) dan biarkan dia hisap lama sikit. dan terus pandai menyusu.

mula-mula dulu memang terasa susah. dengan baru lepas caesar lagi.
tapi nurse kat hospital putrajaya memang terbaik. diorang ajar bf sambil baring. sangat praktikal. dan i sentiasa ingat pesanan aimi (wife zaidi), "jangan buat alasan orang caesar tak boleh nak bf, boleh jek. tak boleh duduk, baring kan boleh, nak seribu daya".

sampai sekarang i memang sangat selesa bf sambil baring, especially malam time tido.i mmg confident bf sambil baring sejak hadzim kecik lagi .. maybe sebab i tido tak ganas & mudah terjaga. so i tahu i takkan terhempap atas dia. tido i tak pernah terganggu sebab kene bangun & duduk utk menyusukan hadzim. semuanya dibuat secara baring. i pon dapat tidur yg cukup :)

mula-mula bf mmg sakit. sampai terangkat kaki setiap kali hadzim nak "lock-in".
kelakar gile time tu. sampai meleh-leleh air mata tahan sakit.
ada laa dalam sebulan jugak sakit. pastu dah ok dah.
tips dari nurse - sapukan air susu kat n*pple area tu utk kurangkan rekahan. so x payah pakai n*pple cream. hafdzuan tengok i sakit sangat masa nak menyusu tu sampai pegi carik apa-apa untuk protect n*pple & he found the nipple protector. tapi i yg tak mahu. i cuma set mind i, kejap jek sakit ni .. nanti dah lama tak sakit punye. and it works.

hadzim fully bf (almost) sampai 3 bulan.
ada sekali jek tu susu mcm sikit, bg hadzim fm, tapi dia menolak.

masa bulan puasa, masa tu hadzim baru 3 bulan, setiap hari lunch hour mesti i balik rumah utk bf hadzim. time puasa tu, bile petang jek rasa flat gile. bf time bulan puasa mmg sangat meletihkan!

satu jek yg i rasa sedikit menyesal. i admit silap i, lambat beli 2 doors fridge.
masa baru bersalinkan hadzim, fridge rumah i cuma 1 door. yg frozen tak brape nak beku plak tu. so mmg tak boleh nak buat frozen stock masa dlm pantang & maternity leave tu.
beli fridge baru masa tu dah nak naik keje (after 2 months).
so susu hadzim adalah kais harini, makan esok.
masa tu pump dpt 15 - 20 oz sehari.
kadang-kadang kalau x cukup terpaksa la topup fm.
nasib baik hadzim ok, semua bedal jek. bm ke fm ke ok jek.

i mmg tak de cooler bag or ice pack. kalau pump kat office, terus masuk fridge office.
nak balik tu baru masuk beg & bawa balik rumah. nasib baik rumah sangat dekat dengan office, 7 minutes away jek.

ada sekali tu, dah pukul 10malam, sambil tengok tv, baru teringat tak masukkan susu dlm fridge. terbuang 10 oz bm macam tu jek. sepanjang malam down :(

pernah jugak tertinggal storage botol dah sampai office. jadiknye, guna botol air mineral jek la. haha.

i paling suke time training. confirm susu banyak melampau, sebab makan melampau (!!!). tapi kalau training kat luar mesti panic sebab tak dapat pump on time.

i rasa bf ni sangat memudahkan hidup i. tak payah bawak air panas setiap kali keluar.
cari tempat yg sesuai & selak jek baju.
kalau malam pon tak payah nak bangun & buatkan susu. selak jek baju.
mmg senang. lagi plak sekarang, hadzim bangun sendiri & selak sendiri baju. hehe.

sejak 6 bulan, gaya menyusu hadzim dah macam-macam gaya dah.
kejap gaya meniarap (bile i baring terlentang, dia pon baring meniarap atas i sambil menyusu), kejap sambil merangkak (bile i tengah duduk dia tonyoh kepala dia ke arah dada).
dan paling latest, kalau i tengah duduk atas kerusi, dia selak baju i & menyusu sambil berdiri.
haih. comel, tapi kelakar.
mesti i rindu part ni kalau dia dah tak menyusu lagi nanti :(

sejak dia pandai merangkak (6 bulan), kalau dia merangkak ntah ke mana-mana, kalau tunjuk t*ts komfem laju jek dia datang. comel giler :)

next week hadzim dah setahun.
sekarang ni, kadang-kadang sekali pump dpt 1.5oz jek.
satu hari cuma dapat 4-9 oz. boleh la jadik 2 kali minum hadzim.
yg lain-lain smua fm. nasib baik hadzim ni tak berapa kuat susu. maximum 5 oz, tu pon kadang-kadang tak habis.
so sehari paling maksimum pon 4x fm. malam mmg direct bf.

dah besar sikit ni cabaran dia bile dah ada gigi. bile hadzim gigit mmg i akan marah dia. tapi nasib baik dia bukan jenis yg gigit sampai berdarah. maybe dia gigit sebab dah tak de susu yg keluar kot :(

kadang-kadang i mcm nak give up bile pump & hasilnye sikit. tapi kuatkan semangat sebab target adalah setahun. rasa rugi kalau tak dapat setahun. walaupon i x fully bf, tp i nak meyusukan hadzim sehingga titisan terakhir. so i pump ajelah walaupon hasilnye sesikit 1oz.

tapi i rasa pelik jugak, bile i tak fikir susu sikit, banyak plak susu hari tu. kalau asyik fikir susu sikit, 1 oz jek keluar. haihh.

i tak hebat macam orang lain yang mampu exclusive breastfeed sampai setahun or lebih. tapi i rasa i dah cukup hebat untuk sampai ke hari ini. (i rasa i hebat la, orang lain lantak pi la nak pikir apa hehe).
at least i dah tau mana kesilapan i & akan improved untuk yg ke-2 nanti.

last year, on this date, i woke up in the morning & found hubby by my side.
yes, im a wife, at 27.
i feel blessed.
:)

i was heavily pregnant right then & pray extremely hard - for baby to come out on that day.
(but he refused to).

.
.
nevertheless, on this year, i woke up this morning & found a new face by my side.

yes, im a mother, at 28.
and i could not be happier than this.
i feel soooooooooo blessed.
:)

the most expensive property i owned, at this 28 years old.

they completed me. i could not ask for more.

another halfway to go

this is how hadzim looks like, when hafdzuan leave the house on every sunday (after spending about 30hours / week at home).
ada sekali tu, sampai pegang kaki hafdzuan & menangis kuat-kuat siap kuar air mata bagai.

siap sambung sampai ke pintu rumah, pegang gril & watched hafdzuan get into the car & left him.

im not sure either he is too good too understand the meaning of "i miss you dad, please don't leave me", or just being a drama king.
but it was touched.
and hafdzuan almost cried. almost.

and i told hafdzuan right after the drama, "if something bad happen in our marriage, this is how the feeling. i went thru this before. i know how exactly the feeling".

i hope the short drama will stick on his head, for ever.

anyway, halfway is done.
another halfway to go. 3 1/2 months.
